Topram
Properly get pelters for this as 80% seem to have made their mind up over Warne, but anyone else just had enough with the constant negativity towards the players and staff? It’s relentless. Even after last nights win I’m seeing people try and twist it negatively, overall last night we played faster tempo had chances and won end off, so why the negativity? Warnes come out and said last night about blocking outside noise out, really think knocking them will help? It’ll only make it worse, 5 in 11 for Collins decent return, what’s booing him and giving him stick going to do? Why can’t we get behind them? We’re in league 1 we won’t have world beaters that will do everything so perfectly. 1 defeat in 10 due to some terrible refereeing it’s not anywhere near as bad as people are making out, it’s as if we’ve won 1 in 10. I can be as negative as anyone and as annoyed as anyone when we drop points etc but it’s the bigger picture move on we go again, It’s not an easy league like people expect, Sunderland sheff united Ipswich Bolton etc all got stuck for time, and probably only Bolton started in a worse rebuild situation as us… it’s absolutely draining all the constant ‘get him gone’ ‘whose next’ ‘he’s just a P.E teacher’ I’ve missed 1 away game and 1 home and it’s honestly making me not want to go, Blackpool people singing ‘warne your football is sh*t’ then 5 minutes later singing his name, honestly think if people stop over reacting and seemingly wanting Warne to fail we could get out of this league this year. Rant over roll on the draining stick that’ll come… Ilkestonian, therams69, maxjam and 67 others 10 58

Gaspode
I'm hardly reading the Derby section of the board at the moment - so sick of the bickering, pettiness and in-grained opinions. Most have already made their minds up and just want to reinforce their opinions by repeating the same old crap over and over again..... We have a League One squad and a League One manager - bitching isn't going to change that.... oodledoodle
Warne said in his interview last night that he had let the players know that they and the coaching staff need to improve if they want success. Why's he allowed to say it but the fans aren't? Papahet, Bald Eagle's Barmy Army, McMuffin and 10 others 10

MadAmster
Reading the negatives on here and elsewhere I get the feeling that most of the moaners don't understand that, each and every game, there's 11 other players on the pitch doing their level best to frustrate us and to defeat us. Failure to win is always seen as a failure when it's just as likely to be down to the oppo XI doing their job well. Take Cheltenham as an example. 6 good stops by their keeper and 2 goal line blocks by defenders. They managed just 2 shots on target, one of which was gifted to them by us. We managed to create chances. Some we missed the target but their keeper and back 4 also played well. Do people not see that? Look at Citeh when they went to Wolves. 68% possession. 23 shots to 3. 8 shots on target versus 1 from Wolves. Wolves won 2-1. How many thousand of bets, including my 10 game accy that would have paid out just over a grand, went south because of that result. The vitriol is, IMO, over the top and unnecessary. RadioactiveWaste
My take is they seem to be sorting themselves out a bit as a team and starting to be somewhat effective. Carry on and they're probably going to be an efficient, if not beloved, team. Somehow it always seems easier to forgive a pretty team, and Warne's not interested in being a pretty team. A few convincing home home wins and everything will just have a different vibe. EtoileSportiveDeDerby, MaltRam, taffyram and 5 others 7
jimtastic56
Warne said last night “We are failing because we are not in the top 6”. He’s not stupid , he knows we have to improve . I am happy for him to continue after all the owner is also. We have to respect fans who are not happy with him. They believe we are so Massive that top 2 is the minimum requirement. Cheltenham, the two main criticisms being: 1. Not bringing a goal scorer off the bench when we're struggling to score 2. The one-dimensional tactic of getting the ball out wide and crossing to Collins and Waghorn when they're surrounded by CBs who specialise in dealing with crosses. Last night, there were a lot of positives. However, the two main negatives were: 1. Players tiring 2. Poor finishing from Collins These both directly lead to Warne not using the bench because he doesn't trust young players. If he should even a little bit of trust in them, the team wouldn't have looked so tired during the last 15/20 mins, and we may have had a forward who was able to shoot. Those two criticisms go away. You're boiling down criticism of Warne to entitlement, despite knowing damn well that's not the case. I'd not care if we were non-league, as long as the football on display was to the best of our ability, and I was excited to go and watch the team play at the weekend. Very, very rarely have I seen anyone posting criticism on this forum that could be boiled down to simple entitlement. Apologies if I've misunderstood your intended meaning with the top 2 comment. It just sounded very dismissive of fair criticism of us as a club at the moment. jimtastic56
DazzaRam
Shape of the team v Blackpool and Notts County was good. Cheltenham not good. And it showed in performance. Why would Warne worry about Cheltenham's midfield?? What he said after has got worry even the Pro Warne fans!! Going further back...We havent played well at home since February. We have been poor and it reflects in the Atmosphere. I believe this squad is good enough for Top 2. We should be doing better. In performance and results....In my opinion. ramit
Warne is not going anywhere anytime soon, that is factual, wanting him out will not get him out, so what is the point then? To moan for the sake of it? Does that help the team? Oh I see, it is not about helping the team it is about freedom of a useless opinion. The practical viewpoint is to support the team and it's leadership to get out of this division. GB SPORTS
