Much prefer him starting from deep where he can get on the ball and drive into the space. Seems less effective with a man up his bottom and in close attendance etc

still our biggest threat or chance of getting in behind

He’s hard to contain especially in the wet, and when he puts the thrusters on, there’s no stopping him.

Many have doubted his end product but he’s really delivered the goods of late.

Expect to be spraying it in from all angles today.

I hope he shoots on sight. He delivers the goods when he does.

I know he got his man semt off today but I felt like he held back on a lot of occasions where he had space to beat his man, especially 1st half.

I am hoping its due to being cautious over the previous muscle injury.

I thought he was absolutely outstanding first half.

I’m sure half our fanbase take him for granted.

I wouldnt say he was outstanding, couple of times he let his man free or needlessly lost the ball, both Allsop & Byrne berated him 1st half.

He stood his man up about 5 times like he did vs Hull but didnt then try to beat him. It just looked to me like he was holding back abit today.

How do you know how he was told to play?

He's a youngster learning his trade - playing all over the shop for us. #COYR

I thought the same - he had a few opportunities to knock the ball past his defender and run, but seemed to hold back. It’s not a criticism or anything, just a comment that he didn’t look like he fully trusted that he had recovered from his injury yet.

Definitely looked like he was playing with a knock or not fully fit. I thought barring one or two moments in the first half he was poor today. Some of his passing, final ball and decision making was poor. But he is young and earning his trade and has been mentioned playing in multiple positions for us. Once he moved to left back some of our best play came down the right with Byrne and Knight.

He has a massive future in the game and hopefully with us for long to come.
