Great guy and a great servant for the Club… but totally  amazing how a defender who is old (35) can suddenly age 5 years in half a season. Davies just can’t hack it now. He really makes things worse at the back and doesn’t ‘shore’ things up a bit..

Cashin had an really poor game. Davies at least cleared most headers.

I’m pretty sure he’s 37.

Anyone only blaming Davies for their second needs to watch it back. Rooney and Smith weak in midfield lost the ball easily then let their man pick his pass with ease, Cashin switched off and was too deep therefore playing their man onside, then Davies (and Cashin) exposed for lack of pace before the lad finished well. It’s too easy to single one person out when it’s almost always a combination of factors.

Great result under difficult circumstances! Well fought of all the lads today. Think Paul will be proud of the team after this fight.

Also credit to Sibley, very important contribution!

Hope Didzy and Knight returs soon, really missed them which off course showed.

I think the bit a lot are missing is that Oxford are not a bad side and have some good players

And that we came from behind to win, defended well as they enjoyed a fair bit of the ball and dug in to see out the game.
It wasn’t a brilliant, flowing performance but after a couple of shoddy ones there was a fair bit more grit and resilience today with a sprinkling of Sibley magic to make the difference.
