Rooney and Smith weak in midfield lost the ball easily then let their man pick his pass with ease, Cashin switched off and was too deep therefore playing their man onside, then Davies (and Cashin) exposed for lack of pace before the lad finished well. It wasn’t a brilliant, flowing performance but after a couple of shoddy ones there was a fair bit more grit and resilience today with a sprinkling of Sibley magic to make the difference.
