  1. Just hope we can see better performances if he can get a good pre-season. But he will have to play a lot better since Sibley was way superior in a "new" position for him.
  2. He wasn't really that great, but we can do them a favor and take over his contract if they really want to get rid of him. If you understand what i mean ๐Ÿ˜‰.
  3. Best of luck Birdy! Understand you need a new challenge but for me you always been a great player playing the game the way I like it. Will miss your name on the team sheet lad.
  4. Paul Warne, well done Sir! I have been negative about how we played this year but the final result speaks for itself. Now you have really earned your chance to lead the team at the next level and I both believe and hope that the style of play will fit better in our new league. Always thought Rotherham were a tough nut to crack and with just a few better players coming it will be an interesting continuation to follow. Thanks to a really good fellow! /Insta who happily admits I WAS WRONG
  5. Run as if the very whips of your masters were behind you! (slightly adapted)

  7. It's a fine line between genius and craziness that genius sometimes crosses I guess.
  8. We don't know where it will end but we all know how it started. David Clowes is a hero.
  9. I'm not a big fan of how we've played this season, but I have to admit that there are very few games where we haven't created the more dangerous chances. Also applies to matches where we had little ball possession and few successful passes. You have to give that to Warne because he has done that part very well! Regarding signings going forward, I hope for a completely new strategy for our dependable players are, in principle, those who have been here for a long time. Cashin, Bird, Sibley, Forsyth and others. Here, there needs to be a rework to make us significantly more successful, I would say.
  10. Great result and effort today. I'll willingly admit I was nervous but it never really got dangerous. Sibs best today followed by Cashin, Bradley and Adams. I am a bit worried about NML which I don't think is quite the same. Was a great goal today but he feels like he's playing half-injured? Hope he lasts one more game this season because we will need him. Wildsmith almost gave me a heart attack with his kicks but was good for the rest! COYR! One last performance please!
  11. Always liked Shrewsbury ๐Ÿ˜‡
  12. Marko Marosi! The game of your life please!
  13. Feels like we're walking in circles and maybe should have agreed to disagree right from the start but I'll give it a go trying to clarify. I wrote Calamity Bradley AND Super Sonny to explain that I consider him very uneven. Then you got upset about it and decided it was rude because for some unknown reason I didn't get to count either his early disaster efforts or his latest craziness. I then used player ratings from footmob as a quick approximation because I felt it was enough for a forum post. If you want we can add weaknesses from who scored which are discipline, concentration and tackles. All are a good fit for how I define a calamity central defender. On top of that, I've seen him make many more big mistakes than Cashin and Nelson who I think are the players I can compare to this season (I haven't seen any other defenders to the same extent off course). I think you'd might agree that he's guilty of some really crazy back passes this season, lost his head and lost concentration in some really important situations? If you want, please come back with your definition of when the term can be used, so I will keep that in mind from now on. Other than that, I of course hope that Calamity Bradley never shows up again and that we only get to see Super Sonny for the rest of his career.
  14. After all, unlike you, I have presented some kind of objective assessment in which the mistakes are included as a part in any case. You are welcome to present evidence for your opinion that Bradley would not be more likely to make mistakes. Besides that, the fact that he can't handle playing in a back four is another indication. He needs Cashin and Nelson on each side of him so they can carry him. I believe that Bradley has committed more gross mistakes than Cashin and Nelson this season, and after all, he has spent a significant amount of time on the bench from which he has not had the chance to make mistakes. When Bradley is put in a man-on-man situation with a striker or forced to do something more advanced with the ball than pass a few yards to Cashin, I feel like anything can happen. Similarly, when he stands and wrestles with someone or can't win a header because, according to the coach, he had a cold the week before. And Northampton away was not that long ago either.

  16. Ratings: Raggett 7.11 Shaughnessy 7.3 Santos 7.24 Cash 7.5 Nelson 7.1 Edwards 7.1 Knight 7.2 Bradley 6.7 Curtis Davies 6.9 But you are off course right in your conclusion that if you disregard a few games when he played poorly then it looks better. Might as well take away his games against Northampton and Reading when we are at it. That is however true for all other players as well so forgive me for having a bit of a hard time taking that argument seriously. I thought Bradley would be an upgrade on Curtis but for me he really is not. Money wasted so far from the club but that is my opinion. I thought he was great today and hope to see a lot more of that which was my intention to write in my post when I also labelled him Super Sonny. (And also I really like Keogh before the incident).
  17. Agree to disagree. Was perhaps a bit unnecessary today, but no ill will. Means I hope to see what I think is the real Bradley from now on. Statistically, however, I stand by the fact that he has so far been a disappointment on field with significantly more catastrophic errors than the average centre back in a top team in L1. However, he has every opportunity to come back, but if he had been a young centre back from his own ranks who had a season like this, he would never have had that chance.
  18. Calamity Bradley was not around today and hopefully we may see Super Sonny from now on! Would be interesting to see our running stats and compare to other games. It felt like we ran a lot more than usual both up and down. Good game all around!
