Nice finish Max

No kidding. Lots to give hope tonight, miles away from the doom and gloom on here. Bird and Watson have come on. Only problem is that La Liga style football can’t be a good prep for the hustle and bustle of the championship

He is getting 10 mins per game under a coach / manager who doesn’t trust him

So hard to affect things in that situation - probably feels he can’t play his natural game and has no opportunity to feel his way into a game. Feels like Rooney is setting him up to fail so he has an excuse to get rid. Of course he’s going to be over exuberant when he gets on.

Just really weird by Rooney. We have no creativity and yet a trialist who whilst talented has very much shown he cannot be relied on in any way, is getting minutes over Sibley. It’s crazy.

You saw this a bunch last year wher the following pattern occured Sibley plays well -> Sibley has a bit of an off game (often out of position) -> Sibley to the bench for the next 10 games.

Plays well against Brum, does ok against Sheff Weds, dropped out of sight.

Changes the game against Brentford, quiet played up front against stoke, dropped out of sight.

Whereas alternatively other players were allowed the pleasure of playing through bad patches no matter how bad their form got.

Quite a lot of abuse for Rooney this evening. While I don’t agree either he’s doing a great job, but children behave please.

One person spouts a bunch of what may well be made-up pseudo-ITK wishful thinkery, and a dozen fish are flapping around in the bottom of the net before you can say "unsubstantiated hogwash". If only real fishing were that easy.

If we sign these freebies and get more as well, with the number of subs back down to 7 I think Sibley will struggle to make the bench under Rooney so a loan could be a good thing rather than him just playing for our u23s hoping for a place on the bench

but what if we get any injury?
