RoyMac5 Posted April 21, 2021 Share Posted April 21, 2021 (edited) Rooney really showed as much ability with a half decent squad ie with Bielik as any other manager might have been expected to. He was able to get in 5 decent loans, where we've been unlucky with their fitness, probably down to their lack of matches played. So for all the dislike of Rooney's 'fame' it is actually a positive in helping us recruit. He saw what we needed to get in in January and managed to get the players required, so I think he could easily get nearly a whole full team in (not all loans obvs). I think the lads will put in a big performance on Saturday, show a bit of bottle and professional pride. If we win and Rotherham lose their next 2 tricky away games all of a sudden heading to the Swansea game we are 7 ahead and they have 1 game in hand..
