  1. We wanted to move last year so renewed existing tickets to get lower price and moved as soon as other non-renewing seats released. Even if we go up some wont be renewing. We are in block that had no seats shown as free in first phase. But guess that only works if you will be renewing somewhere regardless not if only going if can move.
  2. Makes me sick with nerves even thinking about it
  3. We could see it filling up from where we were sat - our fans did it perfectly filling out from the middle to both sides without obvious gaps. Also shall we say that with perhaps those that contributed to the local hospitality sector most on the sides with their later arrival, it seemed to help the singing
  4. Thanks for posting the video - what s time that was. Hope Simmo remembers it with affection too
  5. He seemed to quite just like "david give us a wave" but appreciate he may have wondered if instead it was aimed at our@David
  6. This. I truly thought we were going in admin. Everyone always says it'll take a big club to go before anything changes and I thought we were it. Added to that the terrible stuff we were going through with my dad's dementia (his first awful episode was the night we went into admin) and it was really rock bottom. Have felt quite emotional many times at PP since Christmas because of what going up represents and it hit me again yesterday at the game esp as Camb away was first match dad took me to. I cannot imagine what it feels like for David Clowes and his family. I dont care if other teams mock us if we do go up and celebrate it as if we've won the champions league as its not just the promotion and until it happens to their team in the same way they will never understand. 7. I have always liked PW but at one stage I passed over to the just about had enough of this side of the argument after a negative spell but never stopped supporting and wanting us to win. But then I stopped doing the matchday prediction thread and Adams was signed. Not sure which had greatest effect! With the injuries he has had, especially to forward players, PW and his team have had a brilliant run-in. Hope we get the dream end next week with a win. Saw some idiot post thanks for promotion now bye bye on twitter. Words fail me. On the injuries front couple of weeks ago heard a radio discussion on EPL and how many coaches were linking increase in certain injuries to the additional time being played and general delays in games this season. Sure this will be discussed more Should have stuck with my initial view of PW that he is just what we needed post admin. Looking forward to him being the boss next season wherever we are.
  8. My son cant remember us being promoted. After two years trying he's got into his dream course at uni. The only offerholder day is next Saturday in Southampton. Huge choice to make for next 6 years of his life. Thats fine I said we can go friday look round then and hopefully important bit is first thing Saturday then we can drive to match. Then the 12.30 reality hit me. Hence we went in home end yesterday and hung around to meet players. But devastated to miss it. Anyone have helicopter we can borrow?
  9. Yep Igor would have had same as Bradley this year
  10. So yesterday big thing made of CUFC coming back out for lap of appreciation and awards. There was an exodus and very few left for it plus very quiet around us in main stand not just singing but also just general in match chat and comments. Seemed lots of gold kit but perhaps more Rams than we thought. We definitely sat near two as you could read larger font messages πŸ˜‚
  11. 12. Well the worst thing about home end is not not celebrating but not instinctively tutting or groaning when we lose the ball. Their fans next me really did not like NML, Tommo, Ebou or Sibs showing they were good. The advantage of the home end was meeting lots of players and PW when they emerged. Not only does Collins work hard on the pitch but he carries very big bags to the bus
  13. I can confirm that NML does indeed smell very very very nice having met him on his way out of the ground today
  14. Just spoke to Cambridge fan. Apparently Derby fans "every bloody where" in Cambridge today COYR 🐏🐏🐏🐏
  15. Yes that is correct - last bit pronounced kwhy as in "bridge over the river kwai"
  16. anyone going a14 way do not go off at the junction derby side of Fen Ditton/Horningsea as main road into town that way (Milton Road) has been a dug up roadworks shambles forever. If the fen ditton route mentioned above is showing a small bit of "red" traffic on google maps just over a14 bridge into fen ditton you will be fine. If its showing red/queuing up the slip road from a14 to the roadworks and/or from the roadworks in fen ditton up to newmarket road follow SLO advice. This my route to work Cambridge traffic is purposefully πŸ’©at the mo as was so much uproar about planned congestion charge that it was abandoned. cambridge hates cars. These work well depending on plans https://www.voi.com/city/cambridge
  17. Yep and cant sit with who or where you want, have to remember to buy tickets, etc. Next year we are going to have 3 not this year's 4 hoping 3 of us can make most games and my son is off to uni
  18. Nothing surprising there especially your last comment 😍 Glad you enjoyed it so much albeit I am sure it was also a sad evening for you all
  19. It definitely got a good watering today! I think this will be trickier than many seem to think after appointing Gary Monk they have steadied -still erratic but beat Wigan and Barnsley recently. And you know Derby.......
  20. With extra fingers on my webbed hands should be fine!
