But it's another call we got seriously wrong, and £2.3m on the accounts which we could have used on a player or two. cosmic

We could have used that money to fund the Keogh-type signing we already had - on gardening leave, if we really didn't want to play him - and have had money left over. Rambam
He wasn’t guilty of serious misconduct? Was captain, got blind drunk and accepted a lift off someone else who was blind drunk. To save on a taxi fare. Which meant he was unavailable for a season, but wanted paying in full. If my actions had directly put me in a situation where I had been unable to work for a year, I think it's fair to say I was guilty of gross misconduct. 48 hours, Andicis, therealhantsram and 8 others 9

DarkFruitsRam7
This is long down the list of things that I have problems with the club over. Duck him. Derby4Me and CocuBarmyArmy 1
Gladram
As it's compensation does it count as a footballing cost or is it outside FFP? trekkie_ram

ThePrisoner
Doesn’t deserve a penny. Amazing that you can be reckless, make yourself unavailable to work and pick up a few million. Andicis, Derby4Me, DarkFruitsRam7 and 3 others 4
Hathersage Ram
To be honest, this is the outcome I expected. I have no idea who is advising our club, but in all honesty considering the difference in retrospective actions taken against the other protagonists it was the only outcome possible. CocuBarmyArmy
Curtis Davies: Plays with a serious injury against medical advice to keep us in the Champ. Richard Keogh: Goes on a team bonding night out, has way too much to drink to the point he has no idea what's going on, gets injured. Rejects the clubs reduced offer and sues for 2.3 million. Two polar opposites. Give him the reception he deserves at Pride Park next season. Norman
He had 21 months left on a 1.3 million a year contract. So basically he's got his full wages. Injured for 15 months of that. Andicis
