It would have been fantastic if he’d accepted that pay reduction and been back by the end of 2020. I support the decision to sack him for not accepting it but that would be huge. Would have avoided the whole horrible situation. Would have been even better if he’d not in the car with a drunk driver though. Or at least stuck on his seatbelt.
