B4 - for ever a Ram 🐏

So, it seems it wasn’t just me he was looking out for when posting about my own troubles on here.Β
It appears he’s PM’d pretty much every one of us in our hours of need, and offered his unique advise to us all… and all in private!
B4 the agony aunt! Β Who knew! Β

B4 touched many lives. Always in a good way. Mrs VdM always condemns me for what I say is stoicism, but she regards as unfeeling.

But I've shed a tear or two reading these tributes after hearing the news.

Thoughts with B4s family and thanks for contributing a remarkable young man, whose presence will be greatly missed.

RIP DanielΒ

Like many on this forum I never knew B4 personally but I always felt like I knew him. His posts always cheered me up especially over the last couple of years. He was a shining example to us all in how to be an great human and an outstanding Rams fan. This forum will never be the same and he be will be sadly missed by everyone. My condolences to his family and friends. I think "Be more like B4" says it all.Β

RIP DanielΒ

A stranger we had yet to meet.
Our paths had never crossed.
And yet, it seems, we knew him well,
A dear friend we have lost.

A heart of gold, a Kindly soul,
A friendly word to each.
A clumsy gaff may oft appear,
But ne’er offence be reached.

A call to arms, a plea for fight,
A positive embrace.
Defiant stance, a pumping fist,
A smile on his face.

Hatred of pink, and all things red,
More strangers for him to meet.
β€œA sea of black and white” he’d call,
β€œLet’s all stand at our seat”!

A disregard for marriage,
for relationships of two,
β€œNever, ever” he would wail,
β€œThat would never do”!

Yet he loved all, and we loved him.
His quirks always forgiven,
His stubbornness frustrated,
But missed, now he’s in Heaven.

The truest Ram, amongst us all,
Now gone for evermore.
For Daniel, for DCFC
Let’s all be more B4

This is absolutely brilliant, hopefully his family will get the opportunity to see this and consider using it at his farewell. Fantastic job mate.

What a body blow for me, yet I never met the guy, and only know him from these pages!

He was positive, loyal and uplifting. But the word that best describes him to me is commitment. Thank you B4!
Β

Condolences to family, and to you, Angie, as you knew him well. Keep going, lass!

Metaphorically may there always be a scarf on B4’s empty seat.

The posts that I miss and always made me smile the most were when a poster said they couldn’t get to the game and the solutions he would offer. Β Simply brilliant.

Now let’s go and get promotion!!

My condolences to his family and friends.

RIP B4 🐏.

This was my reflection.Β  His single-minded attitude towards getting to the match.

As a parent it always made me smile thinking of his Dad being organised and directed to get him to the game and how B4 expected everyone to have the same attitude as he did about his priorities.

Speaks volumes for his family how he spoke of them and knew they would back him up, move heaven and earth to make him happy. Hopefully in the future being able to read all that will give them some comfort.

Its been a noticeably quieter and less positive place over the last few weeks without him. The transfer speculation will be particularly less exciting without him too.

I have some very sad news this evening.Β  Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.

As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerfulΒ  and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.

He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always.Β

Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him.Β

Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.

David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

RIP mate.

The forum has lost one of its most respected posters and Derby lose one of its biggest fans.

I lived next door to Daniel, only for a brief time as kids and I remember him being a lovely lad back then.

Guide us back to the top πŸ™Β
