Well there you go...game should have been over in half an hour..we were so dominant it was a joke..

2nd half they were better, pressed harder..but they couldn't have been any worse..we didn't play as well..they got the goal..we huffed and puffed and missed another sitter..

We play like that we will win more than we lose..

Robbed? Nah..self inflicted I'm afraid..

Finished 1-0 to Charlton.

It’s the second game of the season, we’re still behind other teams in terms of fitness (which showed in the second half), we’ve created chances throughout and had pressure with the number of corners (something we didn’t tend to do in away games last season). So yeah, the end result is disappointing but there were promising signs. We will get better with more time playing together and a few more additions. Don’t let the result ruin your weekend folks, plenty of football to go this season! ?

Haven't got much more to add about the game that hasn't been said, but in terms of analysing the fans' performance, I've seen more posts saying "calm down, season isn't over" than I have posts resembling a panic.

We don't need to police each others' reactions when we're all having the same reaction.

I kept going on about how we need to sign Cole Stockton or Alfie May and I wasnt wrong, we need a striker who scores a lot of goals.

Collins 3 goals in 23 games makes him the wrong player for us, am I wrong, time will tell ...

Have you been asleep for 3 years? We can't spend any fees

Once again the same problem persists. If we don't take our chances then we deserve feck all. Toothless in attack. Corner taking ? despite us having 14 of them (Thought Hourihane was a set piece specialist?!). Crossing sub par also. Well done Charlton. Deserved win after a much improved second half, took your chances when it mattered. Gonna be a long and frustrating season, mark my words. I still stand by a mid-table finish, bar some form of devine intervention.

Finally some common sense.

I'd be much more concerned if we weren't creating anything. That's harder to fix.

Bit confused about posts saying this is an historic problem, as heroic as our efforts were last season, creating clear-cut chances was a problem all season long. We created 4 or 5 today.

That’s exactly what you are now doing.?
