I remember it being a vast open site with a few small brick buildings on it. Maybe there was a “town gas” generating plant there prior to North Sea Gas coming? Probably would explain the poisonous soils? I really feel as a club, alongside the admin team, we should be approaching, pushing for want of a better word rolling out the red carpet and contacting him and his group directly to really try and "sell" him the club. I'm by no means a fan boy of his, I said before he isn't God but is not Satan either. I feel him, or someone of his style is exactly what the club needs. I would be confident that with him in charge knight, ebosele, bird, thomo, Buchanan would be going to a larger price the days of us rolling over and having our tummy tickled for fees out would be long long gone. They can’t do it via the admins or court, so they try to strong arm the EFL. They can cause as much trouble as possible, they already are, but they can’t get themselves on a creditors list. They haven’t provided goods and services, they haven’t been granted a court order for damages. This is commerce and law. The only thing they are is a commercial risk for a would be buyer. It’s interesting to note ..have we seen a notice of legal action served on Derby County by either club ? Has any legal action been started ? It’s a Damp squib, paper tigers, vexatious nonsense. I am staggered (but not surprised) that the EFL has been so dilatory, incompetent and weak. They should, by any reasonable judgment, have told Boro and Wycombe to stop challenging their authority and damaging the reputation of the competition.
