Caerphilly Ram Posted December 27, 2021 Share Posted December 27, 2021 Really enjoyed that as a battling win, thought we were in trouble early on as there seemed to be a physical mismatch of sorts. However we dug in and ground out the win. Impressed with all who made it on the pitch today, in particular the back line and Allsop. Loved it late in the game when Cashin went crashing through Clarke in a 50/50. Also thought Bird was going to waltz through and seal it only for it not quite to bounce in his favour. Festy and Byrne as a combination gets worse not better, and yet again the relentless long ball to left wing fozzie was schoolboy football. Baldock was again utterly pointless. Credit to Rooney , he changed it and pretty early on. Thought he was right to bring on Morrison but RM will only give you control and possession if he’s playing deeper.
