As has been mentioned, he donated to charities to the tune of millions and to local hospitals. If on the sliding doors theme, Frank Lampard has selected a more adventurous team at Wembley we might have still been singing “He’s One of Our Own”. MM gambled and we all lost. If the double 6 had landed he would have been lauded but it didn’t. He is no doubt as devastated as us and maybe he should have sold every last asset to keep us afloat, but I suspect most on here would not have done in similar situation.
