Where has he said that? In the article he also says Cheltenham will be the only chance he has to rest his players, so sounds like he is not planning on resting them against Bolton.

Is there anything to back this statement up? Didn't we play great football under McClaren and Lampard and end up losing millions and millions of pounds every season, eventually leading to us being put under restrictions and nearly going bust. Not sure how that can be seen as growing as a football club?

To be fair, their players haven't turned up for 90% of the games this season, so 1 more shouldn't do any harm.

Nelson made a very shaky start from memory but has been immense the last 3 quarters of the season. I had him down at fault for the Portsmouth first goal. Cashin same for me, a dodgy start but, as he forged a partnership with Nelson, has been excellent. However, I do think back to Lincoln where Cashin has his pants round his ankles for most of the game. Wildsmiths form has been up and down but he has more than played his part, especially considering that he saved his best performance of the season for Bolton at home.

Sky TV has somehow managed to programme alot of fans into thinking successful pass completion, higher xG and touches in the opposition penalty area are all more important than the above...

Once again, as per your last reply, not sure why you are apologising? As you say this is a forum for for opinions and I think it's quite acceptable to challenge/have your own opinions challenged. I don't think I've said anything out of turn or abusive to you and, if I did, I'd have no problem with you pointing it out to me. As for receiving pelters since last Saturday, once again, as long as there were no personal insults, I think you fully deserved them for what you posted. It was not an opinion that you gave, just a crass insult about two of our players and our manager. I'd suggest that if you're going to take the hump when you get called out on posts like that, it may be a good idea to consider what you post more carefully in the future rather than what people do and don't find acceptable. As I said in my first post, I enjoy reading your posts, just feel on this occasion you overstepped the mark.

Say if we sack and pay off Warne, hire a new manager and his way of playing does not come off and he has us hovering around the relegation zone, will it still have been a wise use of resources?
