Mel Morris interview on Radio Derby 1pm

An hours worth of drivel on how it’s everyone’s fault but his, spare us please.

He’s that sorry, he’s not bothered to communicate to the fans for the last 18 months and the only time he has bothered he stuck them all on an NDA.

Couldn’t even be bothered to tell his manager he was putting the club into administration.

To little, far to late

Probably plenty but, here’s a novel idea, let’s not pre-judge or speculate. Let’s hear it first then, if appropriate, we can let rip.

Pretty difficult ask to not pre-judge someone who dumped us into administration and then made a really self indulgent statement full of excuses to be fair!

I think you're all being premature.

It could be an hour of Ed and Mel discussing trains and railway related issues for an hour.

"So, Mel, what are your thoughts on the Deltic?"

"Well, like the APT it was a case of some very clever engineering ideas not being properly or fully developed and exploited"

"...and what about the replacement of the"Pacer" rolling stock? Could it have been removed from service earlier?"

Just a last minute knee jerk reaction because he misinterpreted the fans feelings who he thought would blame the EFL after the release of the club statement Friday night.

Think we all know your views by now.

Instead if constantly repeating them on here now, do you think it might be an idea to listen to the interview and then see if it confirms your thoughts or throws any new light on matters?

Just an idea.

Not in the least bit interested in the interview, i can't see what new light it will throw on things,he will throw the same old stuff out possibly dressed up in a different way about how it was everyone elses fault

Presumably you won't be at all interested in commenting on it either, then?

Posters constantly repeating their same old views. What has this forum become?

It's not difficult when you know you're going to hear "his side of the story" in less than two hours time. Keep your powder dry for just a little bit longer.

It's a half hour interview, padded out by music between segments.

First song is 'It wasn't Me' by Shaggy, followed by 'Panic' by The Smith's, 'All these things that I have done' by The Killers, 'Moneys too tight to Mention' by The Valentine Brothers' and finishing with the Stones 'All over now'.

Probably.

Have you heard it already then?

You're probably right but let's hear it first.
