Love the way people say the league is of its lowest quality for years.

Good job IF we do go up were going into the championship thats of equally low quality.

This weekend 2 of its top 3 lost to relegation threatened sides.. one infront of their own fans heaven forbid 😱

I think it’s largely the thought of seeing Sheff Wed and Plymouth, two sides who looked better than the current Derby side, struggle to hit 50 points in the Championship.

I see us currently weaker than teams like QPR, Huddersfield and Wednesday so we will need to have a decent summer (or a manager who can excel on a budget) to give us a chance next season.

I've been watching Derby for 40 years and every year many people say "it's a really poor league this year". The quality of football does actually improve year on year - watch anything from the 90s and it looks like non-league football.

Agree it is a concern

Do we think warne has been the best manager for sibley so far?
certainly worked him into being very important player for us and for me he was motm for me Saturday

Hard to say with him bursting on the scene with Cocu, but think he's right up there, for sure.

I'll wait and see - not sure how highly Warne rates him - that question will be answered in the Summer.

Sibbo will be weighing up his options . I will be gutted if he is another one to go to Bristol city . I would love to know what has attracted Bird to go to them .

I would imagine it was a combination of money, guaranteed Championship football and the need for a change/new challenge. The club probably also needed to cash in on him and didn't try too hard to dissuade him.

Feels like he’s having it out with a fan here🤣

Considering he's talking to me, that's not the case at all.  Long story short, me, my lad, and a few of his mates waited for the players after the Bolton game for pics, and I waited a bit longer than most for a pic with the gaffer, but I guess he was either still basking in the post victory glow at the bar, or he'd popped off early.  Fast forward to Saturday and my lad's mates were again waiting outside and one of them told him I was a Derby fan of 40 years & I was gutted I'd missed him a couple of weeks ago.  Warney politely asked him for his phone, asked what my name was, and hit Record.  Top bloke...

Warnes a relegation specialist, he was relegated twice with Rotherham. We're those Rotherham teams stronger than the current Derby team. The assumption is third time successful but we drew with Portsmouth Fc, so I'd say we are not championship ready.

Yeah that says a lot about him. Fair play 👏

The team we have today, maybe.  But we would purchase/sign a higher type of player.  We can't do that in this league as the cost does not justify it - and they probably would say no anyway.

Maybe half the usual team would make the cut with the rest becoming bit-part.  You are assuming we would take no steps ahead of a Championship season; I think that highly unlikely.
