Spanish
22 minutes ago, Sparkle said: It ends when the EFL say that they don’t believe Derby should have a point deduction because if they do say they are implementing a point deduction Derby county will take legal action, that can only be the logical reason this hasn’t happened yet the EFL apparently agreed that they were aware of Derby change in amortisation policy and agreed to it happening and allowed it to happen for three years - most of that may well have been Shaun Harvey who has left but he was the EFL at that time. It would be interesting to see if the EFL could defend itself in a legal setting. This is the heart of the problem. The EFL approach was that if this was compliant with accounting standards then they had no right to challenge. The DC never got to a stage where this was properly discussed given it is such a good defence it still seems odd that we didn't use it more forcefully. However, we were showing a large P&S loss in breach over the top limit but it was brought in line by the sale of PP and this is where the focus went. What didn't help was being found guilty of not being transparent with the accounting descriptions By the time it got to DC2 via LAP there is a clear reference to the fact that the EFL do not sign off accounts and rely on the honesty of the clubs anything else would be' intolerable' for the EFL DC2 having now arrived at a view that we were no longer compliant with P&S rules, based on Prof Pope's previously ignored evidence, and were fined for non compliance not for default I think it was Mr Karran from EFL that was primarily involved? Rammeister
Derby go into administration and out of business. Meanwhile, we all go and follow Alfreton Town, who with the additional support and income over the next few years speed up through the divisions to the Championship. Spying an opportunity, a wealthy local lifelong supporter of Alfreton takes them over, and gambles lots of money that he’d made early on investing in an internet game on getting them into the Premier League. The final throw of the dice after being close to getting promoted was to appoint the newly retired England legend Jude Bellingham as manager who took the Town to the Championship playoffs only to lose to Arsenal at Wembley In a dire financial position Mel Austin the owner, seeks a buyer… Sweetness34, Bris Vegas, ariotofmyown and 1 other

Oh - you meant the situation at Derby? Probably around 7.5 billion years time when the sun absorbs the earth. 7 hours ago, Unlucky Alf said: Professor Brian Cox says around 4 billion years time, By which time Steve Buckley's Dog will have got his email reply from DCFC ? 6 hours ago, Mostyn6 said: I need this validating. @Carl Saganover to you old bean. What a question! In my youth the traditional figure was the Sun was 4.5 billion years old and would stay roughly main sequence for another 4.5 billion years. I always thought the symmetry was odd, and nowadays the estimates have gone up, so you see between 5 billion and 7.5 billion depending on who you talk to. However, the bad news is that the Sun expanding to beyond Earth's orbit may not prove to be the end of our embargo, as people are busy finding ways to move Earth 15% further out allowing things to continue. One way we can do that is with around a million targeted comet fly-bys. So, would heat death of the Universe finally end the embargo? Maybe not. Roger Penrose who recently won the Nobel Prize for physics has a new theory called conformal cyclic cosmology where the Universe turns out to be neverending, but rather repeats on different scales. This might mean the EFL sanctions against us grow ever bigger as we enter each new aeon of the Universe. Whether that counts for anything in a legal setting I have no idea. Eatonram, Dordogne-Ram and Steve How Hard? 2

Abu Derby
The damage already done will take years to rectify. Once the punishment is administered the new owners will need to instigate a five year rebuilding plan just to get us back where we were 2 or3 years ago.
