matty1986
Sunday rag editor: "Oh poo Alan, they actually stayed up, we need another bad news headline to keep the plebs (Gibson) happy......quick, what you got?" Nixon: "erm...well......I guess we could revisit the massive, humongous, points deduction armageddon story for the hundred thousandth time?" Every f*cker else (apart from Gibson): "Yaawnn"! You'd like to think that in the aftermath of Covid, lockdowns and every football related nightmare we've endured this last year, that fans being overjoyed at surviving the threat of relegation might be something we're allowed to enjoy without self-righteous criticism from some quarters. Its only one or two though so perhaps best ignored. ?♂️ Tamworthram, Steve How Hard?, BramcoteRam84 and 8 others 9

Rammy03
I don't see how we can get a points deduction now. They can appeal it all they like but they are the ones who messed up. Derby have followed the rules.
BramcoteRam84
Well I celebrated. And I don’t care if the players celebrated. As horrendous a situation as it is and no matter how much of an epic failure this has been days like yesterday is why we love football and they do not come around very often. If you can’t enjoy that then what’s the point? ??♂️ It’s embarrassing to think any “fan” of our club is embarrassed about us celebrating to stay up. Harangue the players for not caring, then moan when they do. As for lambasting the fans... Don't even get me started on that. For my part, I'll be having a fat Sunday roast and a good few bevvies for the second day running, but then apparently I have low standards ? DCFC1388
The league signed off on the amortisation for 3 years, how can they even appeal anything? We could probably sue them if they win this appeal as all financial decisions since their 1st signing off of the accounts this way has been based on it being approved cstand, Derby4Me, Kathcairns and 1 other

The expansion of european competitions has devalued them al lot. When they went off free to air tv i stopped watching. But the "we hoard all the promising talent and loan it out to lesser clubs" model replacing the work your way up through the leagues has been detrimental to the game in my view. Ambitious
If we are due one then let’s just get it done and over with. We need a resolution to this and a lot of other matters before we can just go back to concentrating on football.
jimtastic56
I think the reason fans of other teams are taking the mickey out of our staying up celebrations is that we have done the same to them. I do think a statue of Marlon Pack outside the ground is going a bit overboard. Eaststander7 and RadioactiveWaste
Oldben
If Derby lose an appeal and get a lot points deducted it points the way for the sacking of Rooney, only a manager capable of winning a lot of games to make up for the deduction is worth while keeping at the club The Scarlet Pimpernel
