Match Thread: (A) Peterborough United

Rampant

Great win, wobbly start and concede first, show some character to get level then run RAMpant then saw the game out well by being organised and still carrying a threat second half. Their second was thankfully just a consolation after a bit of tired defending, no massive drama.
Lots of positives to take away from today, still things to work on too of course.

Waggy and Thompson stand out with everyone else doing their bit. Happy Saturday folks! 🐏

Great result! Had a feeling we would win today but a little irritated  P'boro scored one and messed up my 1-4 bet. Rooney's lack of pace is a concern, think opposition might target him a bit more from now on. Elder will hopefully come good with more minutes and the newcomers looked fairly good.

Feels a lot better than it did 2 weeks ago!

Waghorn was the poster boy of the Mel Morris overspending era - we stole him from Steve Gibson by offering wages we couldn’t afford. He only has an emotional connection to this club due to Mel and Pearce. Nothing to do with Warne

Ah right,I was labouring under the mistaken belief that the manager might have some say, over his defender,on deciding if a player joins the club and then actually plays him.

Apologies.

Wow. Didn’t see that coming. Our three games against teams that were in League one last year have all been improved on compared to last season. Nine points from three games compared to only one point in corresponding games last season,

Against that we lost to Oxford at home.. beat them last year. Still well up on last year.
