The focus will be on that attacking first half, but I was equally impressed with how organised we were in the second.

Dare I say it, a little bit of identity to our game?

McGoldrick obviously MOTM, but Roberts, Fozzy, Bird, NML and Collins we’re all excellent. The whole team’s effort and pressing was relentless.

Great performance.

It's a great response to a poor run of results and performances.

We really do have to stick with this, ain't going to be pretty at times given the large difference in tactics.

The lack of control over the game is still concerning but hopefully that will come when the tactics are more embedded.

Plus all those saying Bird and Hourihane can't play together... They can ONLY play together it seems!

Great first half performance and a very solid second half performance to manage the game and see it out.

McGoldrick and NML will get the plaudits for their incisive attacking play and rightly so, both we’re superb!

However Collins and Bird both had cracking games. Collins put in a great CF performance closing down, pressing and linking up play.

Bird had a brilliant game. Pressing hard, good positioning and strong in the tackle mixed in with all the good things we know Max can do!

Lets hope we can build on this!
