TigerTedd
So forests punishment was to be in the relegation zone for one week. And let’s be honest, they probably won’t be in it again. And yet they still feel the need to appeal. They’ve got off so lightly. Tossers. Reggie Greenwood
Steve Buckley’s Dog
To be fair they are living the dream, spending 250 million with an annual wage bill of 148 million and they held the giants of football Crystal Palace to a draw. They must be ecstatic. Edited March 30 by Steve Buckley’s Dog Comrade 86, Crewton, TigerTedd and 1 other
Bris Vegas
Forest’s existence up there is to make up the numbers. FFP basically restricts them from ever challenging for a top 7 spot let alone anything more. Today in Palace they were playing a side they wish to emulate. But at least Palace have the London factor to attract better players. Nobody will want to play for Forest unless it’s for stupid money and the rules evidently mean that isn’t sustainable.

Unless things change, there's more to be said about regularly being a top-half Championship side than just scrapping it out for 17th every season. They had several transfer embargoes in the days before points deductions, not to mention several winding-up petitions for late payments. They were getting away with it for years before we ever got charged. TigerTedd, Reggie Greenwood and RadioactiveWaste 1

I'd hate to see what we would have got if -21 points, transfer embargos, academy decimated, administration and relegation is "getting away with it." We'd have been laughed at if we stayed down in League One for years and years, but now we look like we may get out in two seasons (an amazing achievement when you look at it objectively), it means we got off lightly. Failing to make the emergency stop because you’re careering off the mountain side is really an issue about careering off the mountainside in the first place. Football follows the market. If Johnson were more valuable to more clubs he might have been sold in time for the right amount. He wasn’t. So pay up. He's a Millwall fan. And a great journo.
