I have only been to the City Ground once in my life. When we complained at things being thrown at us the stewards just laughed.

Me and many people I know who are otherwise away game regulars just don't go there.

Second worst stewards I have experienced.  Leeds being the worst! ?

At Forest, the club, police and stewards all know its going to happen. Every match v Derby its happened since we've been in that lower tier of the Bridgeford Stand.

They have obviously taken a decision to allow the cave dwellers to chuck objects. If it was the other way round I'd guarantee we would have the upper tier closed down by the police.

Not too devastated by the result. Derbies are different, and Cardiff and Reading lost (shame about Hull) . A number of the lads played poorly - Bird well off his best, Stearman was average and Morrison when he came on was a liability. Thought Buchanan and Byrne had good games and of course Tommo and Knight. Didn’t understand the starting line up that well and certainly didn’t get the substitutions. Bringing Festy off an error and bringing Morrison and Sibley on, well certainly didn’t get that. Sibley’s discipline is a problem he needs to grow up. On we go. Need to regain momentum, it’s still on.

This is it. No-one would have felt aggreived with two yellows, and even two reds would have felt more even. But we don't seem to get the rub of the green on anything at the moment.

Apparently the same referee sent one of our players off the last time he reffed us?

He's refereed 22 games this season, with the away side only winning 3 if them. He sent Byrne off against Millwall in November. You may recall it was from Bennett knocking the ball down the line and running straight into Byrne.

Thought Buchanan was very poor and Knight had an off day. Agree about Festy, expected him to be pushed higher up the field. Surprised he was taken off and replaced by Morrison ?

I don't want to make a big deal of it and I'm probably wrong but, I always feel with Buchanan that it doesn't quite mean enough to him to put that extra lung-busting effort in like Knight, Bird, Ebosele, Thommo, Plange. It might just be Lee's personality or mind set, I don't know, it just seems the others will run through a brick wall whereas Buchanan would expect some else to make the gap first.

I don't go to away games now, but used to and went twice to forest, they were the worst ones ive been to and would never go again for the same reasons. No joy going to watch when its like that.

So, given the boro fan over on the "Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby" is claiming 100s of Derby fans were singing about steve gibson dying - did that happen? What was said?

I know feelings are strng right now but there's got to be some limits.

Didn’t hear anything of the sort.  Gumps singing “one Stevie Gibson “ about it. Cringey

Haven’t read rest of thread but I thought Rooney got it wrong  today think Plange should’ve started and ebosele from bench too seems to have been working when legs are tired

don’t think Plange coming on with 25 to go has as much impact as CKR coming on …off days for Bird and Thompson for me and Morrison as usual slows the game down and doesn’t make the quick obvious pass thought Joziak would’ve come on instead of Sibley ( did he touch the ball ?) also when Cooper changed it we seemed to not react to it tactically

still great effort and still lots to play for …think we missed Jags today hope Bielik back soon

The gumps tend to be bullies. They'll throw stuff at you but when it comes to a face to face confrontation they don't want to know.

They are awful fans about ten of us got trapped outside Derby pride pub near the bus station years ago by about 40 of them lot waded into us until the door staff allowed the Derby fans out to help us, they all ran off to the train station utter cowards.

I heard that chant in the concourse before the game but didn’t hear it during the game. If it was sung it was a minority. There was also an unsavoury one about Steve Cooper that again I didn’t hear during the game.
