We have over 30,000 people visit this forum per month, guests can't vote. If the claim was true, those numbers would plummet when the window closes, they don't, they remain consistent through the season.
No poll then 👍

Going to need some proof for this claim!
I have limited IT skills. Please could you set up a poll for me please asking the question.
Do you come on to this forum for
A) reliable information/solid rumours about the Rams, or
B) for the other old shyte.

Excellent signing. Remember him being very highly regarded at Hull, so a good replacement (even slight upgrade) on Roberts.
Is he a wing back though is my only concern? His goals / assists stats don’t really look like it - hope that he fits the system. Welcome to Derby Callum!
Trying too hard here if you want my opinion. Dial it back a notch.

Not one of the three were linked to us or even mentioned in the slightest by any media outlet or journalist before they signed.
I quite like it.
At least half your client base come on here looking for reliable information/solid rumours, and you want them all kept in the dark.

Pleased that we have bought someone who speaks well. Makes me wonder why WhoScored and WyScout don't give marks for language and elloquence.
Anyway, back on topic, Callum Elder? Never heard of him.

I was going to go back and highlight all his ITK factual statements that were totally wrong but I can’t be arsed. If people are gullible enough to believe he has contacts that’s their problem, not mine.

Interesting thread on @Millenniumram. Which is a shame as I know a lot about him, but before today I had never heard of Joe Ward.

Gylfi Sigurðsson is without a club. Charge was dismissed but has not played football for two years. Has had offers from Qatar and that area, his boyhood local club even trying their luck, but no decision so far. He has kept in shape, or so goes the word.
Maybe Derby would be a draw for him, a good club in a competitive league, low wages to what he's used to but playing football again.
Finding a club shouldn’t be a problem. Finding a new babysitter might be more difficult.

Being on this forum can be a sh!tter. Maybe because all the characters are pretty awful personalities, it's hard to feel any connection. But as it progresses, you learn to love them all as they make their journey towards being better people

No stay down south. I'll arrange you some complementaries to watch Brighton 😆
I would rather stick pins in my eyes than go and cheer on Brighton. Happy to have some free tickets to either Spurs or Arsenal though. Of course they would be complimentaries though

I know that.
I made that point as some people may genuinely believe that hype which was answering the OPs original question why do we think winning League 1 is no hard task.
Winning the league is not the priority, getting promoted is. That should be straightforward, as nicely summarised in the post above. Warne needs to buy/loan some decent players, and coach them to win in a piss poor league. No hard task. I might turn up to a few more games this season. @Brailsford Ram seems to think my attendance might make some difference.

What is Bielik's value currently for FFP purposes??...think he signed a 4 year contract and cost £8m..therefore depreciating by £2m per year leaves his value on the accounts at £2m..so if we sell for anything less, that would represent a loss on our accounts which counts towards our FFP. It would also represent really bad business..but then we are used to that!
Pearce has him in the books at £7.99M. He might increase that valuation after his stunning appearances in the Championship and World Cup last season.

Oh wonderful, arguing about politics/politicians is creeping into the main DCFC forum now 🙄
Sorry, possibly my fault but that old duffer Brailsford started it 😉
Lets get back on track. I suggested last night, after a good few beers, that I was an anti-Warne’r - that’s not entirely correct. I was against his appointment, I am not keen on his tactics, and I would rather listen to 5 hours of the Spice Girls, than 5 minutes of his pre/post game analyses.
However, he should be given this season (by me, and others who have similar doubts) to prove himself to be a better coach/manager than we have him down for. So come on Paul Warne! Prove me wrong, buy some decent players, forge a decent attractive team, and get us promoted in style such that our next season in the Championship will be a very successful and competitive one too.
Time to start being a Cox. -

I expressed no judgement at all about Boris Johnson. I have always believed he was an inveterate liar to clarify that point if it is required. But any person has the right to be judged impartially. I do not believe that Harriett Harman, nor I, were suitable people to preside over Boris Johnson's case. So I don't feel I need your respect on this matter.
So in a 7 person committee, with 4 ‘on his side’ he got a bad deal when all 7 voted against him? Feel free to hold an opinion on Harriet Harman. I will feel free to hold an opinion on Paul Warne.

You ask the question but then provide your own prepared answer.
Brian Clough was not even a Fourth Division specialist when he arrived at Derby - he had taken Hartlepools to seventh place in that League. Very soon he was a First Division specialist, in fact he was the best.Derby County offers Warne far more opportunities for advancement in the Championship than Rotherham ever did or could. At least give him the opportunity to succeed or fail before you hand down your judgement upon him. At the moment you are coming across as just about as suitable to judge Paul Warne as Harriett Harman was to judge Boris Johnson.
With respect, anyone not coming to the view that BJ was a liar isn’t in any strong position to question my opinion.

Was going to say something similar.
Basically, if you’re of a positive or neutral disposition, you will have liked the interview. If you’re anti-Warne already then it’s going to have done very little. And let’s face it, we could win the title this year and the anti-warners would pick fault with the style of play or some other nonsense.
I am an anti-Warne’r. Let’s get that out of the way. So, you say we could win the title this year and the anti-warners would pick fault with the style of play or some other nonsense.
Getting promoted this season, in my opinion, is no hard task. Doing better last season wasn’t either. However, the point I want to make is whether he is able to build a team that will do well if it goes up. To date, his career history is not positive in that respect. Time will tell, but I think he is nothing more than a League 1 ‘specialist’.

10.6k posts and nothing of any meaningful contribution over the years apart from snipes at others, you are one of the main reasons that I don’t read the forum so much as you are very boring and seem to pop up everywhere with an opinion.
maybe get some other interests in your life and lay off the internet so much ! ❤️
Sorry about me coming on here with opinions. I really am easily avoided.

Welcome Jake, always good to welcome new folks.
I think the joining ritual has remained unchanged since i joined the forum in 2010. Basically you're expected to score a few points by infringing some of the many random forum norms that are enforced by David and his private militia of jackbooted moderators. Then join in some random punning, tolerate i-ram sniping from the comfort of his leatherette recliner and generally muck in.
At the moment we're all wetting our pants because in our UK version of the draft (called the "transfer window") we have not yet done any deals so we barely have a team to put out. Hence we're dividing into pro and anti-Warne camps and in the early skirmishing staging before all out civil war.
Think Trump and MAGA but with warm beer and funny english accents.
Enjoy....🤣
Because of your poor linking I nearly missed my mention, as it is quite rare for me to foray beyond your opening sentence. However, the read was quite enjoyable, and I didn’t need the 🤣 on this occasion to know what you wrote was supposed to be witty. However, this post is neither to snipe at, or praise, you. It’s just to let Jake know that I am not over keen on Americans, but I will give him a fair chance. Have a nice day y’all.

Quite surprised that @HuddersRam and @loweman2 haven’t been on to sell anything yet. Come on Lads, that American market is vast and you have a possible distribution gateway here.

Friend of mine who is a Bristol City supporter has said this based on something going around on the Bristol City forum!
I heard there was some pox going around on the Bristol City forum. Best avoided, but for those who can’t resist it when you do log off wash your hands in soapy water thoroughly for as long as it takes to sing Happy Birthday (guidance from Public Health England). @Caerphilly Ram you might want to consider sheep dip/Land of my Fathers based on my understanding of the guidance for Wales.
