Big Bad Bob was on 4 hours ago.
JW, now that’s a blast from the past, disappeared when the forum got more popular.
American Ram, don’t even go there.
Del, ask @Boycie about the stalkerish phone calls he was getting on his work phone, not a chance he’s coming back on.
Saint Ram no longer has any interest in Football or NFL for that matter, closed his account and yeah, taken another direction in life.
Nuwtfly is still around I think, definitely on Twitter and we exchange tweets every now and again.
Ramnut asked to have his account closed, as memory recalls he received a warning and wasn’t too happy about it.
I think at some stage there were two big bad bob’s - slightly different usernames perhaps? @Boycieperhaps was responsible for DEL’s dodgy wiring?
@TrueLouwas another good contributor (minx). @Tombowas all over her like a rash I recall. Did you ever get lucky Tombo?

@Big Bad Bob was an amusing poster too, and if you go back years < JW > or something similar?
Of course @americanram (and his wonderful storytelling) is sorely missed, and you could perhaps make a case for @derbyenglandloyal (DEL) although he was definitely an acquired taste. Not @David’s taste I understand. Sigh.
@saintram used to provide running commentary on games, and did some modding, and then there was @nutfly who was keen on the transfer rumours. Someone mentioned @ramnut too above, who was a very good poster albeit occasionally lost it.

Yes, but there's no way that she would believe you!
ps who is she?
The former Mrs Ashley Cole. Not sure what Cheryl is up to nowadays after cutting herself away from Simon Cowell’s wallet.

Hey guys been back to hospital injection was unsuccessful and after another set of x Ray's the bone that has not healed they are taking me in the operation in 4 to 6 months time and I have arthritis in my big toe to boot. And I will need special boot again after op and then 6 to 8 weeks to recovery so sadly I will miss part of next season but I will be back asp after the op is done.
You could try another doctor to see if they might be able to do it in 6 to 8 hours, or perhaps swap with a mate to see if they will have the Op for you.

Sad to think it's inevitable some members will have passed away over the years, people you spent hours chatting away to over the computer screen.
Definitely worth seeking out members on Facebook that you get on with, as much as I don't like the platform it's a nice way to see that they are doing fine and when not, drop them a little message or raise a glass.
It's more than a bunch of internet saddos, some have made friendships through this forum, still waiting for our first forum wedding though so if anyone fancies a go at @DarkFruitsRam7 just drop him a PM
Has @DarkFruitsRam7 moved on from ‘enjoying his own company’?

I think it was @David who commented yesterday that we were a community on here. Up to then I thought I was just occasionally hanging out with some random Internet Saddo’s. Anyway it got me thinking about members who our community appears to have lost. Some may be dead, others bored, some might no longer have access to a computer, and others have found a proper life. Whatever the reason, this thread is set up to honour those Saddo’s, I mean members, who we enjoyed but no longer have contact with. I will start with a few, but will return with a few more as my memory improves.
@Angry Ram Nice bloke, nothing like his Internet persona. Miss his raspish put downs of anyone he disagreed with.
@Parsnip Funny man. Miss seeing pictures of his dog, and stories of parking tickets.
@Norman All round good poster - humourous and serious, and probably gorgeous in a prison service uniform
Lest we forget.

My bad. Let's re-tread our steps and get this thread back on track.
Yeah, and keep it topical too. Maggie is dead, long live Matt Hankook.

Are you actually for real with that last sentence? It’s really no big deal. He’s a senior pro who will spend a few hours max coaching some 15/16 yr olds, sharing the role with a few others.
You say that with confidence, but if he has a Tuesday night appearance in late November at Exeter, in freezing conditions, or a choice of one hour, close to home, playing keepyuppy with some fifteen year old boys, he might opt for the latter.

Definitely the wind direction.
The Memsahib can't hear it at all from our back garden (we live in Castle Donington, but directly upwind).
Not sure I want to read about the wind direction from your Mrs back garden, thanks.

I like him , he has my full support. However football is such a cutthroat business , I hope we get a good run of minnows at the start of the season to take the pressure off.
I don’t take to him, but he has my full support. He will have failed though if he doesn’t get us up next season no matter what order we play the ‘minnows’.

The boring but factual reply to your question would be....nobody on here knows.
There is a business plan in place, a plan which the details have not and will not be made public, so how could we know?
Even with those details, it really depends on where that puts us in Warne's mind, he might feel like it's the best budget he's ever had, or feels like it's going to be a struggle.
So yeah, it's a discussion killer of an answer, but nobody knows.
God knows 😉

I seem to recall something during the administration process that documented that the 5.whatever million we owed Chelsea and his £1.5m per annum wages were an issue. I could be wrong and getting my wires crossed but seem to recall that being documented.
We owe Chelsea £5m as well as Arsenal. Blimey. These rumours get wilder by the day.
