Oh I like Talisker, but it's a bit fierce.

What possessed you to visit Skye in February? I suppose you've avoided the midges at least.

We are a little mad. Went to Gairloch a couple of years ago before Covid and had a great time with two old friends.  Open fires, stews, wine, and bleak walks. My wife’s mum died a few days ago and she needed to escape for a few days before the funeral. It’s so quiet, not much open. Just want a clear sky so we get a chance of seeing the Aurora

You just never know but I think the forest game and getting caught a bit by the Blue noses but fighting back we will have learned something. Every game the youngsters improve in their knowledge of the game. I think we can get back to winning ways. These men have heads that don’t drop.

if we do survive I wonder what name we can give this remarkable group of players ? They deserve one even now.

The Men of 21 . slayers of the EFL. Rooney’s Spartans, Rooneys Amazing Men. The Incredibles.

I thought with all the shenanigans prior to Rooney's arrival we may achieve some success under a 'Dirty Dozen' mentality.

For the current squad's never say die attitude however, I'd suggest 'The Nails'... A nickname given to the 95th (Derbyshire) Regiment of Foot for their heroic exploits against the odds in the Crimean War.

Hope the Northern Lights dance for you. There was a big solar storm last night, so maybe you had a good show then? Sorry to hear about your loss - good to get away.

There’s something about the resilience of these men. I’ve been messing about with a thesaurus but nothing quite catches the spirit

I quite liked  .. The adamantines but it was a bit lumpy. I got all techi and thought case hardened or nitrided (steel industry  terms) but it doesn’t really have a ring to it.

I like simple yet descriptive .. I think something like …. The Unbroken.

I love legend, myth and am an incurable romantic

.. “I remember Jason Knight .. he was one of the unbroken” . …. Feels good

You’ll go blind ??

Hope you get to see the stars, Milky way and Aurora must be an awsome spectacle. Puts things into perspective.

Much as I want us to beat Huddersfield, the one consolation if we lose is that Middlesbrough drop out of the playoffs ?

Yep just looked at that. Also keeps Notts F at bay. Hopefully thats not a "bright side" we need.
