didn't say they will fall off the cliff, but we could fill the ground in a better way with 23-25k.

do you not think there's room for improvement?

I don’t think there is any need to close parts of the ground if we were to still get crowds of anything over say 17,000. Certainly not if we maintained attendances over 20,000.

another idea would be to move away fans to the north stand. when we restrict sheff wed and sunderland to 3000 when they probably want 5000 we'll be throwing money away

I know not allowing the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland a bigger allocation would be turning away much needed funds but personally I’d hate the prospect of seeing 5000+ away fans packing out the North Stand. I prefer them tucked away in the corner. Also, if you moved away fans to the North Stand you’d lose the “banter” with the South Stand.

Yep, there's barely any League 1 games on Sky. Only usually during international breaks.

True but this year we have the World Cup. Top two divisions stop for the World Cup, League one plays on therefore more focus and games for that period, especially as Sky don’t have World Cup rights. From a TV point of view only we’ve picked the best year to go down!!

Not really administration related but there was some messages in here about what Kirchner said in improving the match day experience so I'll stick my thoughts in here.

I'm aware this suggestion is not going to please a lot of people that sit in these areas but I would close the corners of the ground now relegation is confirmed for next season.

With lower attendances expected I feel this would improve the look and feel of the stadium. People in the south west and north east corners will therefore sit in the south, east, north and west stands making the ground feel fuller and also improving the look of games on tv. I'm aware there wont be many games on tv next season but fans watching highlights and seeing an empty north stand aren't going to think they are missing out on much. If money allows it, maybe ST holders that were asked to relocate could get a £50 rebate on a 23/24 season ticket

Long term if the club is once again stable the first thing I would do if I was Kirchner is knock down the north west corner and build another south west style corner, the north west is a horrible eye sore and the non symmetry of the west stand as a whole is ugly. Lastly the idea of a Pride Plaza stuck onto the side of the east stand is a huge no, just look at Coventrys casino and there in tells you the answer. By all means build things around the ground but please no do not attach any buildings to the ground.

It's an idea, not a good one, but its good to pass the time. ?

Don't know why you want to do this 'because it looks bad on TV' we've had 20-24000 in the ground most weeks and the atmosphere has been brilliant. Feck the look on TV or for that mater what the numptys down the road think. Its the atmosphere that matters and it's been the best in years.

Under the EFL deal which commenced in 19/20, Sky Sports broadcast a "minimum of 20 Sky Bet League One and League Two matches." So it's not many but I imagine we will feature in a fair few of those.

Never mind that there is a fair bit of talk that league one and league two clubs will be able to stream live football for ALL Matches next season including the 3.00 pm Saturday shifts which could be worth a lot of money to a lot of clubs

I have a feeling Sky will want to do Super-Dooper Sundays , with 4 womens matches for us to feast on.

I’m saying we shouldn’t change anything.

They literally couldn't be further away and still in the ground!

Yea sorry, i forgot about the reason, but there is some operational reason related to the train station and holding fans which means they have to stay on the side of the stadium that they're in.

Thats great news if true. I'm not upset that we won't be on sky much. I would much rather have a netflix style service for the club where i could watch every game or highlights, old games, etc and not have to travel to the Netherlands to watch half of them.

Just playing at 3:0pm every Saturday is a big positive.

Nope - it’s the fourth Thursday in March for immediate sanction, after that it is suspended and applied depending on result of the season. If already relegated it goes on the following season. if not relegated it gets put on the current season of it would result in relegation, or the following season if it would not result in relegation.

As I have stated many times.

CK knows what the numbers are and is aiming for 0 deduction based on a 3 year pay out of 35%.

Slightly disappointed it won’t be 25% up front because it suggests club cashflows might be used in the next two seasons to fund legacy creditors.

But what he says is still good news

I would expect that to be offset against transfer budgets.

Better get used to the occasional "barker style fee" for the next few seasons.....

I thought it was partly due to the fact that corner was closest to the away fans coach parking and partly due to the below stairs/concourse separation between that corner and the East and South stands. The other reason given was the concourse lock up facilities for any arrested which were under the south stand and therefore easily accessed and that the police can segregate away fans more easily from that corner - much harder if they had the whole north stand

Fwiw I don’t like the idea of an ‘end’ for only two clubs at best - I like the away fans stuck between South and East. Makes for a better atmosphere which is one of the reasons it was done. We shouldn’t be making it easier for away teams to get big support.

Providing Leeds or Everton don't get relegated, the two best supported teams - Sunderland & Derby - will be in league one. It's going to be a huge money pit for the EFL.

Sunderland could get promoted. If they win their game in hand they are fourth and will knock the parasites out of the play-off spots for good measure.
