Pass the ball Morrison!!!

Getting really fed up of Morrison now and his inability to simply just pass the ball. It’s not even make the right pass, it’s simply make a pass!

Great skilful player but no end product. It took him Two minutes not to put Buchanan in followed by Buchanan just walking back up the pitch shaking his head.

Players eventually just won’t even bother making the runs if you don’t attempt the pass in.

Slightly controversial here but he’s the player I’d drop to bring CKR back into the team.

Decision making was very poor tonight.

Personally I dont see where CKR fits into this team.

He passed the ball beautifully most of the game.

Think he’s our best player by a large distance to be honest.

Takes risks when he needs to, keeps it simple when he needs to. In fact I think the second goal came from him checking back and not playing a Hollywood ball.

Must have been watching a different game to RammieIb. One or two times he did not make the right/obvious decision, but generally his passing was good to watch. My only criticism of him at the moment is that he never looks fit enough to last more than 70 minutes. At 2-1 we needed him on to help control matters.

Ravel Morrison has so much to offer but he was far to deep tonight

Our best players are the two pensioners at the back and Knight who has the application to be a premier league player in the next 18 months.  I fully expect him to be off for 3 or 4 million in the next window with add on's.  Would be 10 if we didn't have to sell him on the cheap to cover the interest on Mel's tax bill.

He virtually played right back in the first half then centre forward second half.

Ravel not passing the ball forward sticks out like a sore thumb because he's the only one who consistently does it.

there was two or three occasions last night where he could've passed it a lot earlier but one ended up with Knights goal he's a tremendous talent but maybe needs to learn that he can't always run past someone and maybe pass a bit earlier but still a talent

A lot of the time he was looking for a decisive forward pass but all he could see were statues. A defense splitting pass needs someone to execute it, but also needs the forward players to be moving when the pass is played - too often Lawrence and Joz were on their heels rather then giving him the option. In those situations, rather than punt a pass to a player who will almost certainly get tackled, he looks to retain possession and play the ball back....

Thought he was pretty good tonight, he looks a different class of player to anybody else we have. Agree there was a couple of times last night I wish he’d have released the ball earlier but I’m not sure the conditions helped with it at times. 
I always think we look at lot worse when he comes off and the only criticism as some have mentioned is I wish he was fitter to play 90mins regularly.

We lost all control of the game when he came off, like we do most of the time when he does. Probably needs to get fitter as he seems to tire after 60 mins but that's to be expected from someone who hasn't played a lot of games in recent years.

Someone making a run doesn't mean the the pass is on. It was frustrating, but usually it is 1 or 2 runners with 4 or 5 defenders covering runs and blocking passes.
