Bravo in terms of keeping things quiet, though it is boring! As nature abhors a vacuum we have ended up with 16 pages of utterly pointless debate about whether a player we know isn’t going to sign is good enough or not. Could have had exactly the same thread about Ronaldo or Messi (although I imagine only @Magicman would have concluded they weren’t good enough ?). We desperately need a few more ITKs to generate more interesting (if ultimately still fruitless) discussions. That’s enough of a reason to keep the thread open. If your blood pressure spikes to dangerous levels from the very existence of a thread on our former number 9, it’s not that difficult to avoid reading it, let alone commenting on it.
