5 ATB for away games,

Team i'd go for:

Wildsmith
Ward - Nelson - Bradley - Cashin (assumed fit) - Sibley
Bird - Adams
NML - Collins - CBT

Team I think Warne will go for:

Wildsmith
Ward - Nelson - Bradley - Cashin - Elder
Bird - Adams - Hourihane
Collins - NML

Didn’t work Saturday. Never will.

Even if Ward or Sibley get into wide areas, who can they cross it to?

Collins on his own against two defenders or NML who can’t head it?

Need to go 4-3-3 and let them worry about us.

Two central defenders is enough at this level. Three get in each other’s space.

I haven't taken against him. Its just feels off as a start at a club. Maybe Warne is trying to coach him to play how he wants.

From the little I have seen of him, he looks like a player who excels on the break, who needs space, rather than beating a low block

Fair point and, firstly apologies, I’d forgotten he’d played against Cheltenham.

Exeter lined up with three at the back against Wigan.

Sweeney, Diabate & Jules in a 6’1”, 6’2”, 6’3” formation!

……………..I do hope we’ve got a bloody good plan B. 👍🐏

Not good news 🙁

Potentially not. If Cashin is fit enough we could stay with the back 3 and use Wilson or Ward at rwb, or go to a back 4 and hope Wilson can do a job in Nyambe’s absence, unless Smith is fit enough to play there 🤔

Adams is the more worrying one for me as he’d started his Derby career well as that missing piece in midfield. Hopefully a bit more rest today and he’ll be ok.

Adams and Nyambe doubtful

Bradley did the pre match interview on RamsTV. He joked about not knowing the side yet, but it would be unusual for him to do it then be dropped. I'm guessing a Nelson/Bradley/Cashin back 3

Cheers, back in the hotel now for an hour then back out for something to eat.

We are in the indigo hotel in the centre, been here before and they look after me, upgraded to a suite with Cathedral view from the bath 😂

Is that in Cockwood? My lad and I stayed near there last year and met some Derby fans in the pub.

The Ship inn in the centre down an alleyway between the Cathedral and the high street.

Cracking pint of Abbot ale, we’ll be back later.🍻
