There's a reason why a side who would have got relegated without other teams getting points deductions is releasing him. He's a CF who is poor in the air, can't dribble, rarely shoots and doesn't create anything for others.

He was offered a new contract by them

Being written off already 🤣🤦🏾‍♂️ madness

At least, reading through the thread from the beginning and getting to your post so far, there hasn't been anyone yet pointing out that we have NO CHANCE if the mighty Blackburn of the Championship are also interested

Cardiff withdrew their contract offer and he is on a free so worth a gamble... No idea of anything about him but a highly regarded coach in Jon Dahl Tomasson at Blackburn and coach who we hope will get us promoted appear to see something in the lad.

They obviously don't have access to his Wikipedia stats unlike us experts on here.

As long as he is the right age 😉

Maybe warne thinks he can improve him. Better having a 24 year old with questionable stats than say a 31 year old with no resale value in the same position and no great stats throughout his career also.

Like the NHS.  Nothing is free, there's always cost. This time in wages. I'd rather get two or three quality players than 6 mediocre ones with limited quality's.

Its a squad game though isnt it

maybe if we were to get him hes coming im under the role of option striker and if he can win a place then happy days

if ur old enough to remember jim

smith had trollope and sean flynn as back ups to powell and RVdL .. neither were getting in ahead of those two but when the toils of the season kicked in and injuries and suspensions kicked in you need a squad who are willing to play that second fiddle role but step up and give their all when required

Never heard of him, doesn’t seem to find the net a lot - regardless of level he’s been at. Cardiff fans have him down as a trier who lacks quality to be a Championship player. Me, I’d prefer to find players who have ability but may need coaching up to progress as a footballer.

A low quality footballer, who runs a lot, isn’t exactly what we’re lacking to be honest.

A low quality footballer, who runs a lot, is exactly what we will be looking at to be honest.

Him and Collins upfront sounds like the "watching paint dry" of all strike partnerships then 😍
