Who says we wont get 20m for him look a good performance against messi will help this get to that amount and catch the eye.

Since his first loan to Birmingham in 2016/17 season, he's had 256 possible club games, he's played in 110 of them, he joined them in the January 2017. He even went to Walsall on loan the following season and never played due to injury.

Bielik, who missed the first half of the season after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury, has been struggling to shake-off a hamstring problem and has now picked up a knee complaint. Despite the latest setback, Saddlers boss Jon Whitney remains hopeful; “Unfortunately he has tweaked his knee during late-stage rehab which has delayed the start of his loan spell with us." Bielik explained, "I would go to the Championship but, because of the injury, the clubs did not want to risk me."

The Arsenal loanee, who signed for the Saddlers in January, only joined up the squad last week after being blighted by injury over the past nine months. Bielik began the 2017/18 campaign with a shoulder problem before then injuring his knee while training with the Gunners. He joined the Saddlers on loan having almost regained full fitness, only for a hamstring strain to then delay his recovery.

If we compare his history versus Louis Sibley, who's been a bit part player in the most - he made his goal scoring debut just before the covid lockdown in March 2020 and has since made 103 appearances for us. Sibley has 3 years on Bielik in senior football and is only 7 games behind him in appearances.

Bielik has a long history of being injured - this is a major problem for him long term and for us short term. It's a recurring knee and hamstring problem. It's all about the capital risk to the buying club, Bielik on a free transfer and small wages is a small risk, whereas paying £20m and putting him on large wages is a massive risk. You need to get out of whatever fairytale land you live in and be realistic. He's a crock, always has been and always will be. We were burnt massively as part of Mel's trainset and are trying to anything we can from the wreckage. Beggars can't be choosers, we'll get what we're given and it won't be £20m.

You need to give B4 some leeway , as he says himself he has a few difficulties but optimism , enthusiasm and love of DCFC are not among them.

I'm not knocking B4's optimism, enthusiasm and love for the club overall. There just needs to be realism in there too. My young lad believes that Derby will sign Ronaldo, therefore turning down £174m a year from the Middle East. Ronaldo won't sign for Derby, it's not realistic, my lad's now suggesting Grimsby players for us. That's realistic.
