Bielik at Brum

Its sad but with Bielik its always " hope he does well in the  future when fit and has a run of games " and is then  repeated time and time again when he gets injured

its a shame as he is a good player but un-fortunately no player is valuable if always injured and looking ahead to what might be

That move was worth it then.

Derby County midfielder Krystian Bielik has been left out of Poland's squad for their Nations League games against the Netherlands and Wales later this month.

Head coach manager Czeslaw Michniewicz is expected to name his World Cup squad in October with the Nations League games the last internationals before football's biggest tournament kicks off in November

Beats me how a player like Lampard can play a decade and a half of intense football with just 3 major breaks  for injury. Yet Bielik who looks fit as a butcher’s dog can’t get up to celebrate a goal without knackering his shoulder

wonder if the Lampards of this world somehow manage to give 100% but not do that foolish thing that gets them crocked

He’s just saving himself for his return to us in January and the big push for promotion ?

Think making this squad was always going to be unlikely given he hasn't even been through a pre season, the squad he really wants to make will be the World Cup, still plenty of time and games to make that.

Almost like he's become a hated ex player, don't get it, leaves or stays in the summer it would benefit us greatly if he stays fit and has a decent season there.

Ok, I would find it a struggle to wish Birmingham City do well, just Bielik on a personal level. A Bielik in the World Cup ?

We can't afford his wages.  If we go up, and no one else buys him first, he might return.  But we are under restrictions for two years and his employ does not work for us.

The World Cup squad thing is very similar to Rooney (W) leaving.  A way of gracefully letting go without saying what we all know: we can't afford to pay you.
