StantonRam
Rooney is being the bigger man by saying that he will shake Gibson's hand tomorrow, should hopefully help to diffuse any potential trouble, I just hope he spits on that hand first LOL... There is always that little niggle that asks wtf Gibson should get a penny from this, if indeed he has. However, I'm trying to ignore that and focus on the fact we finally (hopefully) get a wriggle on. Hector was the best and Tyler Durden 1
Oldben
The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Sun Tzu, The Art of War Derby have dealt with Boro without fighting a legal battle or having to pay for one. Even if that feels a bit like a hollow victory, I will take it. Hopefully derby can beat boro on the pitch. Ted McMinn Football Genius and SaffyRam
Mr Tibbs
A relief. Hope to see some takeover movement now. I’ll never forget what these two bell whackers have put us all through this season though. Steve How Hard?, hintonsboots and SaffyRam

MackworthRamIsGod
In a bizarre turn, which wouldn't suprise me, it would be so fitting if Mel and Gibson decided to team up and take on and bring down the EFL. mozza
One thing for sure, if Mel has had to dip his hand in his pocket, the 'other party' involved will have had a detailed text message..

Crewton
First, let me say that it's good news that Gibson and Morris have reached an agreement, particularly if it is sufficient to remove an impediment to a takeover of DCFC. If this also helps to reduce tensions tomorrow, that's no bad thing either. I do wonder though how this confidential agreement sits with those Boro fans who claimed that it wasn't about money, it was about principles? How does a private financial settlement address that objective? It doesn't, does it? No admission of "guilt", no public apology, no prostration of Mel Morris on the ground in front of Gibson pleading forgiveness. Just admit it was about the money all along and we can move on.
