  1. Wouldn't that be just lovely jubbly. A stress free final day of the season, not having to smash Simmo's Carlisle, and best of all, the final day fixture of Peterborough vs Bolton being a dead rubber. Would it be too much to ask for to be able to then sit back and watch Leeds suffer play off heart ache again (remember the last time 😀😀😀) and Forest to be relegated - on the last day losing at Burnley?
  2. Collins replacing himself! Crikey. We'd have seen everything then 😀😀😀
  3. Pompey 1 Derby 2 🤞 FRGS Collins.
  4. Wow. I never realised that Manchester United weren't even in the top flight when we won the league that year! They ultimately went on to become the biggest club in the world, and we...... Still, the DCFC sun is starting to rise again now.
  5. Sheffield United are truly horrific, and their fans are a complete disgrace. During THAT season I believe our fans were voted Player of the Season. Every game was a sell out, and bizarrely, the longer the season went on, and the more we fell behind the rest of the league, the better the support was at Pride Park. We took the piss out of ourselves, and every set of away fans that turned up. It seems some of our best times as fans have been when we face adversity. Strange bunch us Rams fans. Last night Brammel Lane was half empty by half time. Tin pot club, with tin pot fans.
  6. I've long thought that perhaps the management team should be based away from the touchline, like you sometimes see in Rugby League (I think). It would stop a lot of the current shenanigans involving managers and indeed the fourth official. Surely a manager / head coach would also benefit from a decent view up in the stands somewhere.
  7. Occasionally yes, when perhaps you are lacking in confidence, or playing a team above you and on a roll, but when at home, on a great run, against a team that have a dreadful away record and are way below you in the league? Yes, maybe coming to Pride Park is their cup final. It will be the same for most Premier League teams going to Man City, or Championship teams going to Leicester. Are they tinkering with their formation? I doubt it. And using having Cashin out missing as an excuse is poor. We have enough CHs to keep a consistent formation. PW needs to establish an identity, recruit to it, and play that way consistently. You'd think this far into the season we would have stopped bloody tinkering. We are 2/3rds through the season. We should know what we are doing by now
  8. Derby 4 Shrewsbury 0 FRGS Collins COYR 🐏
  9. It feels like every weekend is a big weekend these days. With Portsmouth, Bolton and Peterborough all away today, a home win today could be huge, should the others drop points.
  10. Royals 2 Rzms 3 We always seem to make like difficult! FRGS NML
  11. It's a very good question Curtains. I think we can all agree that it took us a long time to adapt to the way PW is setting us up / wants us to play. Whilst the football may not be great, our results over the last dozen games or so has been bloody impressive, and if it continues, we will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. We do have some cover in most areas, especially when everyone is fit. Bringing new players in might be beneficial, but how long might it take them to get up to speed with the PW way? Furthermore, what impact might it have on the moral of current players in that position? Losing players would be a blow, even if it generated money to bring in new faces, partly for the above reasons. Finally, PW stated some time ago that he wanted to do any transfer business early in the window. Would any transactions now not smack of desperation? I'd stick with what we have and keep the faith.
