So if what I have read is correct

we now know that there are 3 more attempts to buy the football club but they are not particularly close

the meeting did not say we weren’t going to sign some but it did say that conversations were still ongoing with the EFL which may mean we will run out of time to sign players before Saturday

MM is disappointed that more game time has not been given to the academy lads and believes money has been wasted on established players who actually hardly ever played.

Have I missed anything?

Also we aren't selling anyone.

I've been placed in situations where I have not felt safe on multiple occasions, e.g. I was struck in the eye by a coin at Blackburn, had a pint of beer thrown over me on the concourse at Birmingham and had a fat oaf and/or his drunken fishwife throw up over my back at Rotherham.

There are too many crazies - or I'm a binner-magnet.

Our away support is an absolute disgrace at times and we are now choosing the more remote and/or midweek games in an effort to try and keep safe from our own fans.

I've been to the first day. It will take a lot of rain stoppages to take it to lunch on Saturday

And guess who has tickets for the 4th day? ??‍♂️. I’ll be doing a rain dance, either that or hope it’s over in 3 days, get my money back and go to Huddersfield game instead.

Just out of interest, what has happened since you bought your ticket for Saturdays match that has led to you deciding on such drastic action?

Finding out I do a lot more on a Saturday than going to watch Derby, I have a child on the way (should be today waiting for the hospital to give us a bed) negativity coming out the club also turns me away

I’ve been going since 1995 and this the first year I’ve thought about not going at all and that’s bad when I’m like that as I’ve always been buzzing to go. Not there on Saturday as I’m in the Isle of Wight on holiday but will look out for score and will be at the next home game. I fear this season crowds will be below 20 thousand and I’ve never know that before

Well if it’s a choice between Pride Park for the season opener or Godshill Model Village you are really spoilt for choice in respect of a buzzing atmosphere.

I just cannot believe that a meeting took place for 4 hours, and the highlights seem to be that there are no incomings or outgoings, Mel wishes we used more academy players and that there are interested buyers.

I could have told everyone that without needing 3 hours and 59 minutes more and wasting people's time and money to get to the meeting.

I'd have also done a 45 second interview with Radio Derby so not as to subject normal fans to abuse online.

Then made anyone with a supporters number sign a NDA. And their families.

What the duck did they do for 4 hours. Talk about Nick's massive flag? Rooney and his new mates?

In fact I should probably start my first ever thread:

Things you can discuss with strangers that takes 4 hours.

It’s David’s fault he should have saved the favourite crisp flavour question for the end not asked it first.

We can’t have it both ways

MM seems to say he wants our youngsters given more real game time - just maybe he thinks the likes of Sibley should be playing more - which is what we all seem to want don’t we ?

I would prefer to see him playing over a Morrison or a Carrol if you know what I mean

So how will Morris being out of the club change that?

What negativity is coming out of the club? The only negativity I can see is coming from the fans.

PS - forgot to say, all the best for the impending birth ?

Maybe more to come out when David and the other attendees do their reports. I’m not going into a meltdown until more info and context is available  .

We really are in a perilous state and I’ll be very interested in @David’s write up. Many thanks for going, David, and you don’t deserve any of the abuse you’re apparently getting.

I love this club. I loved it before Mel and I’ll love it once he’s gone. Same with Rooney. As long as there’s still a club to support, I’ll support it. I think the same applies to all reasonable Rams fans.

That’s the kinda kinder post I have been waiting to read.

Jim Wheeler from Rams Trust just gave a reasonable summary on Radio Derby, around 7.40am is if anyone wants to listen back to it, sounded slightly more positive than the Punjabi Rams summary.

For those who aren't denizens of Derby what did this summary state...
