Depends if they take the Barnsley approach or the Cambridge approach. Last week were some of the soundest I’ve met.

Well they cant have been local to Cambs - never see any police

Not long now, a few red wines this evening to calm the nerves, now in bed chilling.waiting for the game, can not wait, in the Merlin for 9.45, a few beers to settle the nerves a english breakfast, then off to PP, to get behind the lads and push them over the line , I have a good feeling we will all be bouncing come 5PM tomorrow evening. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

Would you prefer "this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."?

I think this sort thing is more in the spirit 🐏

We shall not flag nor fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France and on the seas and oceans; we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be; we shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender

Or perhaps Henry V

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother.

And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Does anyone know what time the players arrive? Not something I’ve ever done but I feel like giving a rallying call!

With apologies to JRR Tolkien.

Sons of Derby, of Derbyshire, my brothers!

I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.

A day may come when the courage of the Rams fails,

When we forsake our dreams and break.

But it is not this day!

An hour of Gumps and shattered shields when the age of heroes comes crashing down.

But it is not this day!

This day we fight!

By all that you hold dear on this good earth;

Rams of Derby:

Hold your ground, stand firm and win!

Run as if the very whips of your masters were behind you!

Warne's philosophy has been to stay calm, not get too high/low, keep believing in a steady process. He actually means it and the players seem to follow it.

So it would be a massive deviation if he started making wholesale changes,  sticking players on the bench to give a grand farewell etc. Would send a dangerous message.

I expect no changes unless injury forces it. Sibley and Wilson, Adams, Smith and Thompson. NML out of position.  Plenty of attacking options off the bench.
