No Ryan Nyambe? Is he injured? If not I'll let you break the news to him. He's a big lad. 😳

From what I have seen Ward isn’t a right back and NML is cream crackered 😊

Team for me has to be

Wildsmith

Ward Nelson Cashin Elder

Tommo Bird

Wilson JJ NML

Collins

Subs: Vickers, Bradley, Forsyth, Fornah, Hourihane, Sibley, Barks

the way we play well rested full backs and Tommo buzzing round midfield will be a massive help.

Also thought Elder was amazing today agaisnt the best right winger in the league.

Tommo and JJ have looked match sharp in the last 2 games and I think JJ is the type of player who can make something happen agaisnt a low block which fleetwood will probably set up with.

In reference to playing 4 at the back, Warne has talked about his struggles deciding whether to play 3 in midfield and 1 forward or sacrificing a bit of control to add more goal threat by switching to 2 in midfield and 2 up front. Warne can't get that balance right with the current squad, so I can see him using this game as an opportunity to switch to 352 to get what he perceives at the best of both worlds, especially since We'll lose the defensive solidity of Nyambe for at least a month. We switch to 3 at the back at some point in almost every game anyway, so the players should be able to adapt to it quickly.

Really? Just another oversight by the recruitment team then? Wouldn't it be a novel idea to sign players who can actually play games??

I'd be saying the same at Liverpool about signing Mo Saleh. Awful signing, with him being away with the Egyptian national team.
