DarkFruitsRam7 Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Would have snapped him up in a heartbeat last season after the solid job he did the year before. Should definitely go for him again if we can. Ted McMinn Football Genius, Zag zig and Premier ram 3
Zag zig Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 My son mentioned him the other day, when discussing who we thought we needed up top. Didn’t believe him when he said 16 goals last season for Wednesday. Shows his value though, big yes please.
Magicman Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 He has what we need but we also must find a pacy tall striker to lead the line. jono 1

May Contain Nuts Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 (edited) Can't say there was anything about his overall play which stood out while he was here (not a hold up man, not particularly good in the air, not particularly strong, not really ' clever' with the ball, no pace), but clearly knows where to be to score goals! Between them and Reading, he was excellent, proving himself a real handful and scored some stunning goals. 5 goals in 17 starts of which 15 were full 90 minutes. For a free transfer, he'd be the perfect physical presence upfront that we need. jono, Boycie and Premier ram 2 1

Wolfie Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 If Boro do want Gregory, why would he come to us instead?. Cos it won't be for high wages or obviously Chapoinship football. More game time (?) would be the only advantage.

He's made the big bucks elsewhere and has just been released by a Championship team. Going to Reading for what he did, tells me he just wants the chance to play football regularly again following all his injuries. 1 year contract with an extension option, low wages yet financially incentivised for performance. No brainer if it's something Rooney can pull off. Premier ram and Wolfie 1 1

He's originally from Sheffield, and if his recent clubs are anything to go by, he wants to stay in the area. Perhaps Middlesbrough is just a little too far away Wolfie 1

Day Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 How can you test their resolve with an offer when all we can say is, can we have him for nowt or on loan? I mean we’re not really putting them under serious pressure here to keep the player. nogbad van 50, vonwright, jono and 2 others 1 4
