Millenniumram
Steve Gibson’s already on the phone to the Premier League demanding they relegate Everton, so Derby fans don’t get any joy at all this season by seeing Leeds go down Coneheadjohn, Highgate, Alph and 1 other

HANS SEGERS. Anyone watching football in 1997 will remember that Everton- Wimbledon must win game. Should have been relegated then. GenBr
Throw the book at them. 50 point deduction effective immediately. For them and also for Leeds just because its only fair I have no horse in this race and have no hard feelings towards Everton, but it will be fun seeing them down in the Championship. scout's dad and TigerTedd
rustylee
Teetering on the brink of breaking fair play rules according to the article but already surpassed the limit by £155 million that is quite some leeway if 155 million is only teetering on the brink. DarkFruitsRam7
From what I've seen on Twitter, there's a lot of complacency around. People suggesting the Premier League won't take Everton to task. They clearly haven't been watching the EFL. If the Premier League follows their lead, some big clubs are in for a rude awakening.
nottingram
I know Everton are one of the few clubs who rival Derby for being run in the most inefficient and incompetent way possible, but I find it amazing any PL club, with the swathes of money in that league, can be close to being in breach of FFP rules. They could be properly ducked if the Russia issues continue for a long time.

Have the Prem ever punished anyone for breaching ffp? They wont even cooperate with the EFL to punish teams that breach EFL rules and then get promoted. In the past they've been very reluctant to give points deductions, because they dont want to ruin the competition or something along those lines. I'd expect a meaningless fine if Everton are found guilty. RadioactiveWaste

Mostyn6
Everton owner said after the European Superleague nonsense that he was gonna spend a load and dared the EPL to try and punish Everton after they didn’t punish the 6 clubs involved in that. CornwallRam
As Frank Lampard is their, I wonder whether Uncle Harry is involved? When was the last time that Redknapp had any involvement in a club that didn't subsequently have massive financial problems?
