EulogyForEvolution
Here is the order paper for Urgent Questions today: 1. UQ - The role of the military in dealing with migrants crossing the channel. (Heappey/Healey) 2. UQ - Fraud in the Coronavirus grant schemes. (TBC/McFadden) 3. UQ - Matters of EFL (English Football League) governance surrounding the administration of Derby County FC. (TBC/TBC) UQs starting at 12:30. Here is a link to the stream from the Commons: https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/bedf5521-3dfe-471b-9e3c-ba77488214db It's still TBC at the moment but I would be very disappointed if Nigel Huddlestone isn't there to answer it. If he is there, I am looking to here a strong commitment from him to get involved immediately. Edited January 18, 2022 by EulogyForEvolution Spelling error. To be fair, there is limited time for these questions and the fact that we made the cut alongside military intervention in immigration control and fraud in pandemic funding is pretty incredible. EulogyForEvolution
Just to echo what some others have said, urgent questions aren't always granted. Far from it. Credit to the Speaker for selecting it. Lindsay Hoyle is a Bolton fan, so I'm sure he understands the seriousness of the situation, especially given what has happened to his club in the last decade.
