No statement still is an absolute joke, the fact that Ashley is quite willingly going to make a deal and they are just ignoring him, someone high up doesn’t want him

There has to be some sort of statement coming right?! The last time there was this level of speculation and panic the parties involved did eventually comment

Can we stop this Ashley saviour rhetoric please. If the bloke had made a serious offer he would be our owner but he clearly hasn’t. The admins are not ignoring him nor is Mel pulling the strings, he simply has not made an offer that will satisfy creditors. Until he is willing to do so, the admins should ignore him.

Agreed, we'll be just one of number of floundering businesses that's he after.

He'll get some, he'll lose others & just move on

It'll be hours or days, not weeks and certainly not months. We might lose some players and targets waiting for Kirchner, but we will definitely lose a lot more waiting for Ashley or Appleby to complete a deal at this late stage. Even if either of those two interested parties could complete the deal today, we'll lose more players and possibly coaching staff than if we wait a few days for Kirchner's money to arrive.

If either Ashley or Appleby wanted to, they could complete this purchase within days. There will be sale & purchase documents ready to go - just change a few names.

And Kirchner's money should arrive within days. The difference being: creditors getting more money, no points deduction, and us having a better squad for next season.

he is not transferring Crypto. I have just listened to the Alan Nixon on talksport and that was interesting.  The issue with CK is that he is transferring an amount larger than anything he has done before (red flag) and from the US to a country he probably has never transferred to before (red flag).

All they need is a OTP - job done ?

If MA puts a better offer in which is more for the creditors then Q will have to listen to what he has to say, If the exclusivity has/will/is removed then it's open to whoever wants to go above CKs offer.

That's my understanding ?‍♀️

Because Kirchner's bid is better. They will wait as long as possible for these funds to drop. There is nothing saying that his exclusivity has been removed as there has been no official statement, just rumours saying that it 'could' be removed and now Sky are reporting it as though it has.

Is that actually true though?

Which bit? Kirchner's bid results in the most money going to creditors, otherwise he wouldn't have been PB. We know Kirchner's bid won't result in a points deduction next season, whereas Ashely's will. Faced with a 15 point deduction, we'll find it harder to keep players and harder to recruit. If Kirchner isn't the new owner, it's highly likely Rooney will walk, meaning player retention and recruitment is even harder.

Can we just have one f****** day devoid of drama? Is that really too much to ask?

We’re supposed to use the close season to rest up, instead of which we’ll be wrung out by the time the season starts ?

Blimey, this time last year the season was over and people were bored and creating stupid threads to keep up any interest.

Roll on a year and we have something to keep our interest and people are moaning.?

Tongue in cheek - obviously

I don't understand why if Ashley or Appleby get the club, in the same timescales as Kirchner is able to, we wouldn't have as good a squad? Surely if Ashley did get us, he wouldn't be happy with staying in League One any longer then necessary, so surrly he would invest?
