CBRammette
Boro fans on twitter taking the Gibson sorted it/he is the saviour stance. Not worth engaging as if matters progress quickly now proves he was the pile of manure on the carriageway stopping us moving forwards which efl, mfc, etc have always denied. IslandExile
So, it's been a hour or two already...... Why haven't we named a preferred bidder fer crissekes???!!! These Administrators are missing a chance here to hammer home the point.

gfs1ram
Amazing how many 'Gibson saves Derby' 'Fair play to Steve Gibson' or 'Gibson initiates talks' comments I am seeing. Did he respond to Mel ? I hope he does not get a penny and Mel now sees him in court as long as a takeover can now go ahead.

DCFC1388
Now time to see if the admins have been telling the truth about this being the the reason we havent been able to name a PB. Gibson & others have said they werent the only thing holding the deal up because of the stadium, hmrc etc Let see how quickly we can get a PB named now this major issue seems to be sorted RadioactiveWaste and Kathcairns

Come on Admins I'm not sure Gibson realising he was likely going to be the fatal factor and that it might somewhat dampen his standing in the game if he killed DCFC is really all that laudable of him. Massive relief that Morris and Gibson have agreed to move their "mutual admiration" out of DCFC's way but still little love for either of them. All that really matters is getting DCFC back into a solvent, responsible ownership and being able to continue following the Rams. If Gibson hits Mel's pockets away from the club I won't shed a tear. It's been stressful for all of us. angieram, Ram-Alf, CBRammette and 1 other 1

IslandExile
I hope the accord is that it goes to arbitration and if, by some miracle, Gibson wins then Mel donates to charity. Otherwise, Gibson makes the charitable donation. I sincerely hope that Mel has not paid the chancer or his club a penny. BucksRam
Accord - An agreement that settles a dispute, generally requiring an obligee to accept a compromise or satisfaction from the obligor with something less than what was originally demanded. Also often used synonymously with treaty. Suspect that word was chosen deliberately. I assume here Mel was obligor. Either way, this seems to be great news and on a Friday too RadioactiveWaste
gfs1ram
Gibson is still a Banker. He stretched this out as long as he could. He could have settled this months ago. Think of the damage he has done to DCFC and players we have lost during that time. No forgiveness from me. Never will be any.
