He has been superb and the key reason we look much harder to break down. Interestingly I thought had the biggest test this season so far last night. The pace, power, height and movement of their number 11 was as good as I've seen all season from a front player. Not often so far we've seen Jags get as a good as he can give.

Jags continues to be very good. He must have got a shout from the keeper to get out the way last night for their second goal. Otherwise I am sure he would have jumped with the lad to try and put him off.

He’s an absolute hero in my book £4.5k a week giving his all to a likely doomed (when he signed) team when he could surely get double that sat on the bench for any other team in this (or above) league

He got absolutely roasted for pace in the first half today - you could really see how slow he is now. And the fact that that’s almost the only time that’s happened this season, tells you how good he is at reading the game and making sure he doesn’t get forced into situations like that.

Surely has a good career coaching after he retires. Still doing a fantastic job though.

Jagielka’s turning circle is better than Keogh’s!

Love him to be honest, would like to say he coasts through games but just every so often he misjudged the 50/50 and ends up out of position but that’s the only fault I can find. Said it before but him and Davies are great to watch if you want to learn how to position yourself and read the game.

Big fan of Jags. But with the likes of Bournemouth leaking goals , could he get snatched by one of them? He said his future is uncertain and the parachute teams could give him a treble you money offer to help them get up.

When do all of the six month contracts run out?

I had it in my mind that it was after Christmas,so I'd be interested to know what we are planning to do when they do...can we extend them?

As brilliant as Jagielka undoubtedly is, Rooney surely couldn't drop Richard Stearman after a performance like that? Assuming Phil Jagielka is match fit of course.

A more than fair point but perhaps with a short space between games, perhaps Wazza might look to rotate the squad a little.

Perhaps Cutis might be granted a well-earned rest, or Fozzy perhaps?

I'm hoping that he will to be honest, hence the perm any thee from Curtis, Jags Rich and Fozzy suggestion. Does seem to be a backup plan though rather than a starting line up though which is odd.
