Man what a game!!!

Remember that awful end though to a forest game?? We scored 93rd min or so, ref calls it back for a penalty. We miss, and then didn't it repeat, we score again and it's another penalty called back by the ref, we miss a second time and it ends a draw

This happened or was it just a nightmare??

Stuart Attwell's first game officiating, I nearly wept all the long walk back to the White Horse!

Really good first half that. Absolute control for probably 35 minutes of it & played some neat stuff - final ball saved Notts from being further behind.

Ebosele & Cashin the absolute standouts though. Festy's pace is a must for the league XI & Cashin has been excellent in every facet of CB play - good in the air, positionally tidy, good on the ball & even seems to be playing wrong side (left footed but playing on the right side). Fully deserves his goal. Also liked the look of Thompson - good set piece delivery, good weight of pass & generally very composed in midfield.

Watson & Jozwiak been quiet though - both need to start demanding the ball more in dangerous areas, playing closer to Kazim when the ball gets to him & being more mobile to find space in the final 3rd when it doesn't.

Young lads doing well.

Ebosele - Got forward well, although a few too many tricks have tripped him up at times

Cashin - Knew he was good but slotted right in. One questionable backpass but also a cracking header for the goal

Fosyth - Steady

Williams - A bit awol, seen far more of Hutchinson at left back with Williams further upfield, but unlike Ebosele he's had Watson, Sibley etc in front of him so been pretty redundant

Hutchinson - Got around and covered well, also managed to pull off a decent long range effort

Thompson- Very mobile, taken the ball off defence, and a few decent set piece deliveries

Sibley/Jozwiak/Watson - A few bright moments, some nice through balls

CKR - Doing okay but 3 shots now he should have done better with

Overall pretty easy for us, bar about 5 minutes late in the half, the big problem will always be goals

Can see kids struggling more if played against experienced teams in our division, as mistakes will be punished, but they've acquited themselves really well.

In all fairness to Watson Rooneys doing a sibley and playing him out of position I prefer him in the middle in a 8 or 10.

Watsons an attacking midfielder not sure how out of position he is. Hutchinson’s most out of position being asked to play the Bird role when he’s also a 10
