As simple as the the title says, who is the best player we've signed under Mel's tenure.
My lad reckons it's Badly Johnson, but surely there's a more deserving candidate out there?
Dawkins signed permanently under Mel, didn't he?
Great player. Fulham at home and away in the cup. Great performances. If only we had him now, we might retain some possession up front.
I'm doubting myself that Mel was here now. Can't be arsed to Google it, either.

That was last month, we were talking about the run up to the November election last year. I know I dive into threads half way through and don't really know what is going on sometimes so I feel your pain and there's no need to apologise.
Is laugh out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud something you do very often?
It sounds tricky to pull off. You should start a YouTube channel showing how you do it and explaining what it even means.
Lolz.
P.s it wasn't just last month. But thanks for bringing up another example of it happening.

Oh dear. Those spouting facts obviously haven't watched the Trump speech when he urged supporters to get vaccinated at a rally. He was booed. And he said 'I support your freedom of choice' amid the boos.
And the same people go on about cognitive bias. Lolololololololololololololololololol.

Relegation to League 1 at the end of the season. Record sanctions imposed. No takeover.

Honestly, what is the end game here?
The EFL are clearly blocking a takeover, they want Mel to take some form of punishment before he leaves Derby. It's obvious Rick Parry won't sleep at night until he knows Mel Morris is responsible for Derby County getting a points deduction resulting in relegation.
No takeover means we are in this never ending Mel Morris Mess.
If we get relegated with even lower revenue I just can't see how our club survives?
We arent paying the bills now, how on earth do we pay the tax man, transfer installments etc in league 1 if we cannot afford to do that now.
Not to mention the need to buy an actual squad of players next summer.
It feels like the club are in a maze without an exit.
Imagine if the last day of the season went slightly differently. What mess would we be in?

Go forth, Wayne. And may you and your new hairline prosper elsewhere. I wouldnt blame you.
Which makes me think, what would Mel look like with hair?

This is almost on a par with "at least Hitler made the trains run on time".
Yeah, and we won the cup a year after he'd gone.

Who are you to tell people not to hang around on this thread?
Don't like the subject matter, don't hang around? Same thought process, no?
Do you what you want, its a forum for opinions. I just don't like the way you accuse others of attention seeking when, in my opinion, you are doing just that. Trolling for a reaction on a thread where emotions are high. @Ambitious didn't deserve thar trolling. Imo of course.

Yes, venting about the worst run football club in the top 2 or 3 divisions on club's said forum you've been a memeber of for years, commenting on a football club you've supported all your life.....on a thread entitled 'embarge possibly ending' that has no sign of ending.
A forum that had a seat at the latest fan's forum that none of us know what was said.
The only narcissicm would be those telling people 'bye' who have valid concerns about their club and how disgustingly run it is. I mean, that would be attention seeking and trolling, surely? Don't agree with their opinion, fair enough. But to dismiss their opinion as dramatic or narcissicm....nah, not a fan of that. Or Mel.

Why do stop playing when we take the lead? We've lost loads of points with this flawed strategy.
Game management. We have no Championship experience apart from the back 4. They all have a season or two behind them, if that. It's not enough to make the correct decisions at a late stage in a game. That's why it's so hard to win consistently with so many young players.

Not going to lie, although this thread has useful information and I'm grateful someone who knows what they're talking about has explained what has happened......i can't help but be disappointed considering the vast experience the OP has in starting amazing topics.

Can't wait for tonight. Will we pass the test. On paper it looks difficult.
How will Bogle and Lowe perform?
And that's just in the accounts. Buzzing.

Let's be honest, the argument that your partner had Covid and you didn't because you were vaccinated is a terrible one. Let's save a few pages and everyone's blood pressure by dropping it. There's no point arguing about it.
In other news, the experimental drug administered by IV drips straight into your blood stream that Trump took has been proven to reduce deaths and need for ventilators in those who cannot build up their own antibodies. It can be injected now too. Approved in USA, but its very expensive. 6,000 dollars a go, apparently. And that's for the first treatment.

We will win. I'm feeling optimistic.
Followed by the submission of our accounts and an admission from the club we have failed FFP, shortly followed by an EFL statement deducting us 10 points.
So -7 for the day. Which would be good if we played golf.
-
Ebosele. Welcome to RB. I think you'll do beter running from deep anyway.
-
We need a win here. They are no better than us. And I don't think there will be many teams like this away from home.
I'd take a point now though

Morrison and Lawrence keep coming deep because Bird and Shinnie can’t do any playmaking. Then they look forward and there’s no one there. No support anywhere near Colin. Forsyth stood in the left wing for no reason because we haven’t dared pass to him. Byrne’s best attribute is bombing on and Ebosele on the same side is stifling that. Rooneyball is aids. Problems at the club or not, this side should be more coherent than this.
Aye, Shinnie or Bird have to come off. Morrison deep, as he's there anyway, and get Sibley on. Ebosele and Byrne canceling each other's games out. I'd put Ebosele RB and Jozwiak on too.

I was talking specifically about the Hull tickets, as you well know. An example of another club struggling post-covid. Things not back to normal yet across football.
But you know this, just want to use it to have another anti-club rant.
Bore off.
Thanks for that, moderator. I wasn't talking about the Hull tickets, as you well know.
You have your cheap shots and then tell me to bore off. Very inclusive of views.

It’s refreshing to know that at least somebody knows exactly what is happening at ‘every other club’
It's refreshing to see that you think its Mel's job to sort the ticketing system out and book coaches....
Name me a worse run club at this very moment.

Yep. Hull gave us their tickets three weeks ago.
Oh, hang on a minute....
Yeah, no season tickets, no ticket office, no coaches, no minutes from a supporters meeting, no updates, no communication from the club to emails, no accounts filed, promises broken to the manager, tax bill unpaid.
You're right.

Do you have any sympathy for those at the club at all , Norman, given the extraordinary circumstances we all find ourselves in ?
Nope. Every other club seem to have their act together. So, no, I don't.
