Really? Think anything but a drubbing is a good result for a promoted team at Anfield, certainly not a performance that will shut them or the media up

Tbh I thought Liverpool were off it and should have won 6 or 7 - 3.

If anything, I think Leeds are about to get ruthlessly exposed. Can't wait for Woy Hodgson to counter attack them to death.

Whilst you look at @Angry Ram glorious slabbing, just remember 59 Londoners are currently self isolating one 1 bedroom bed sits on rent at a grand a month in that square footage of land he has

Yeah, my mate is self isolating in his flat at the moment. His mortgage is a lot less but his flat offers views of the arse end of Grantham.

It is a good bit of slabbing, though. I reckon that's been sealed as well.

I'd keep that quiet. They'd lynch you in the matchday thread.

Yeah, what the duck would all us shift workers do without regular updates whilst we're at work every other Saturday?

@SaintRam is sooooooo selfish for even suggesting it. I hope his exercise plan fails miserably.

Only joking, mate. You know I appreciate your matchday thread updates. Hope you stick with the plan and get to a game....

  4. It must be on this thread somewhere already, but....

I went to see the Joker at Showcase Deluxe, Nottingham Friday night.

Sat down on time, played around with my seats buttons, too easily amused with a leg rest coming up and down and reclining my seat up and down.

    Brilliant fun.

Until some Bamford sat down next to me with a big bucket of popcorn. Sounded like Gary Lineker on a Walkers advert. Eating with his mouth open, and a complete lack of self-awareness.

The adverts played and I could still hear the Bamford chewing. I calculated at the rate he was eating the popcorn, the film would be over before he stopped eating.

So I waited for a quiet bit at the start of the film and said 'if you're going to eat like that through this film, I'm going to lob that ducking popcorn'. Overly aggressive, but we're talking 11 quid a seat here. And I had waited ages to see the film and managed to not have heard any spoilers.

The worst thing is, he acknowledged he was eating too loudly and agreed to eat quieter. Which he achieved.

Who thought of popcorn? People don't eat it unless watching a film. Its ducking mad. The worst thing you could think of for not pissing other people off.

I'm not buying the knockout story mainly because the biggest problem seemed to be he got gassed.

That's what happens when you are concussed. If you were already concussed, a smack on the temple will stop your ability to recover.

Joshua says it was an injury from his physio. Yeah, ok then.

Joshua can't learn how to survive unless they get someone to smash him up in camp.

Aparrently the eye injury he got in camp was from a huge knock out in sparring.

    Some saying he hasn't recovered.

Anyone been following the AJ v Miller build up?

I suspect Miller has part of his pay day riding on sales? It would make sense as it's not the fight anyone wanted and Hearn needs the spotlight back on AJ.

I think he's done really well here Miller. He's thrown everything at AJ.

Unfortunately I don't think AJ is playing along and I hope Miller realises that because he's going to have to be his very best just to avoid getting destroyed.

He's drawn out the AJ that Fury wants to fight. But he's a 22st punchbag.

And he's basically made himself look a tool for $$$. Such a twit.

I'll buy it now though. Hoping it's a short but sweet mop up job

And the news from the WBC is that Fury will not fight Wilder next.

But we have Joshua v Miller to look forward to lol.

Fury v Pulev is my guess. Wilder v nobody.

Maybe in really small doses. A day in the company of senior would be agony.

Jnr slightly more likable. Especially away from his Dad

    But we are....

    Strike that.

    Jr is......

ducking love it when he does that. Makes it appear he is using his words carefully, but not carefully enough in the first place.

Love the police badge. Master level troll. Hopefully.

Great news. Top 3 fighters all fighting out of different stables and with this move there is now rivalry between every stable.

If these 3 fighters don't meet then this is exactly why people turn away from watching boxing.

Imagine United on exclusive to BT, City to Sky and Chelsea to ESPN. All platforms arguing who televises it. Then imagine all 3 clubs wanting the game played at their own stadium.

They all could have fought each other once by now, be promoting rematches and making fortunes. Instead they are all protecting their precious "0"

It's not going to happen, is it? Wilder v Fury and Joshua v Whyte should be happening now.

Instead Fury may have to fight someone poo in May, because negotiations with Wilder don't seem to be getting any closer.

Joshua v Miller in June is a joke.

So frustrating. Fury is the only one who seemingly wants fights, but now he has tied himself into a contract with a network that the other 2 won't appear on. I don't blame him for taking that money, but for boxing, this is going to be bad. Would be surprised if any of them 3 meet in the next 2 years.

I’ve seen some pretty grim stuff in hospitals over the years but the thought of having a stranger dress my misters made little John retreat and hide in the pubes☹️,glad you’re out and thanks on Joel.

I had only got my ball bag out to girlfriends up until my operation and infection. Must have had 20 people have a look including a training group of junior doctors inside of 2 weeks.

Now I just whip my ball bag out whenever. ?

Thought I was doing ok, only a bit of oral morphine after surgery, and a couple of paracetamol afterwards.

Then it came to unpacking the wound this afternoon. 15ft of guaze, 2.5 hrs of unbelievable pain, even after morphine and tramadol and the good news I get to do it all over again every day for the next 9 days!

I have never felt pain like it, so I really do feel for you.

I tried to tell the mrs that child birth cannot compare. She still doesnt believe me.

Just realised that includes Xmas day. You in hospital over Xmas?

I ended up having the surgery at 1.30pm this afternoon after a last minute hitch delayed things after I'd been prepped originally at midnight.

21hrs nil by mouth in the end.

Fookin hurts, two incisions in the bawlbag then flush out and clean the infection, now starting a 24hr IV course of antibiotics for now, but will probably change again once the results from the lab come in, so looking at a boring few days before going home.

I had a hydrocele, mate. Caused my a hernia in my groin from my tennis days.

Went to sleep with him saying he was draining it and would be up and about in 3 days, to waking up with him saying it was infected and they had scraped my ballbag as well as draining it.

Didn't walk for 2 weeks and dreamt I was the king of all monkeys when I was on Tramadol.

I feel yout pain. My stitches were also too tight and got infected ?, so had to go back to hospital. Then Thorne ducked his knee in pre season the day I came out. Not a good 3 weeks.
