Old Spalding Ram
Let’s put this fixture into some kind of perspective before the clubs pre match press conference. League 1 form guide………last four matches. League 1 form guide………last six matches. League 1 form guide……….last eight matches. League 1 form guide……….last ten matches. Currently the worst performing club in League 1. As for predicting the starting 11………………I’ve given up on that one! 👍😁 Edited February 28 by Old Spalding Ram SKRam, Mucker1884 and McMuffin

Tamworthram
Technically it isn't of course but this kind of feels like a must win game (and win it reasonably comfortably) in order to restore some degree of confidence for the players and fans that we could continue to challenge for an automatic promotion place or, at least, be competitive in the play offs. r_wilcockson, McMuffin, SKRam and 5 others 7
Rampant
I did intend doing a fuller OP tonight but it seems I can't edit my opener. One is bemused.

cstand
Hoping for a better performance. Play 4-4-2 stop all this 5 at the back nonsense. We need two geriatric strikers up front not one. 😀

Top Lino
This is really a must win game for Warne - another performance like last night could see the crowd turn on him. Think he is a decent guy but sadly out of his depth managing a club the size of Derby with the big expectation of the fans. We'll be back in 81
Wildsmith Smith. Nelson. Cashin. Elder Bird Adams. Sibley Ward. Gayle. CBT This is assuming Nyambe, NML and Hourihane are out injured and Elder fit. I would go with a four at the back and Smith can play right back with a more attacking midfielder in. We need to create more chances on goal. Subs. Loach, Bradley, Thompson, Fornah, Wilson, Barkhuizen, Waghorn.

hintonsboots
P.G Wodehouse pre match presser. As the stage is set for a clash of footballing titans, Port Vale, under the leadership of the illustrious Big Dave, embark on a journey to the hallowed grounds of Pride Park, where the once pristine pitch now bears the scars of battles past, its surface marred by the passage of time. Meanwhile, Derby County, perched precariously in the lofty heights of second place, find themselves under the watchful eye of Manager Warne, whose fervent devotion to wing-backs threatens to jeopardize their bid for automatic promotion. Amidst this tactical chess match, expect to witness a spectacle of long diagonal passes and set-piece specials as both sides vie for supremacy. With the stakes higher than ever, Warne must navigate his team through the treacherous terrain of the pitch without exhausting their reserves, striving to ignite the engine of victory and propel Derby County into fifth gear to secure a crucial triumph. jimtastic56
Running totals on the crowd for the game Saturday? Only 24,500 for Charlton . But the “Walk Ups” will be back at the weekend, pondering the purchase of a season ticket 24/25 . Let’s have a show that will make their minds up . I am adorious of this new-foundened fad of thine, my bosom companion. 👍 I beseech thee to keep it going forthward, unto the season's end, and beyond our tardy yet glorious victory parade throughout our Kingdom's capital, and it's associated brothel houses and taverns. Rampant
Wildsmith Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder Adams Smith NML Bird CBT Gayle (Loach, Ward, Bradley, Sibley, Thompson, Waghorn, Barkhuizen) It would be nice to see one or more of Bardell, D Robinson, Fapetu, Weston and Allen make the bench at some point if the more established and experienced players continue to underwhelm. It would also give many of us fans a boost too I reckon. Gabby'sThighs and SKRam 1
