Norwich fans say they were interested in Cashin at one point with their Irish centre half leaving . Brighton messing us about really ruined our hopes of bringing players in. Derby could have sold on deadline day in time but Brighton had a loan out lined up and it wasn't back here. Derby wouldn't sell without getting a player in, the loan for this player they thought was coming was refused on deadline day. Brighton agreed on a loan back till January last minute to get it done but it was too late. Norwich wasn't the club. He'd had contact with someone (unattached) of 'real quality' who hadn't been picked up by anyone but had been waiting for a Championship offer?
