A recent 'freedom of information' question about newspapers provided for staff at the BBC, revealed that in comparison with national sales, the Guardian was massively over subscribed at the BBC and that the Daily Mail was massively under subscribed by the BBC. I think that shows the political bias within the organsiation.

Seriously? You're not pleased that no-one reads the Daily Mail at the BBC?

Did they happen to say what paper was read by the people at the top of the organisation?!

The same BBC that has Conservative Party Doner and advisor Richard Sharp as it’s Chairman ?

Personally, I struggle to believe the date on the front of the Mail. But, I did find the proportions of papers supplied within the organisation, to be quite revealing.

Whether, it's an indication of the political views of the people ordering the papers or the political views of those reading the papers, I don't know.

The Guardian is a truly evil organisation, the Daily Mail has always been a shining beacon of virtue and freedom and it's shocking these deviants are so embedded in a great British institution. These tofu eating anti-growth coalition woke socialist marxists need to be weeded out. We need a final solution to deal with all these.

Just read the comments section on any  article that the BBC website allows you to comment on that will prove the political bias.

Quite right.

They bend over and let the Tories do what they like, these days.

Really ? The glee with which they meet serial Govt cockups and embarrassing moments is palpable. Guardian of the airwaves. Not hugely biased, but slanted without a doubt. I mean, I don’t mind; those in power need to held to account for their failings but if you think for a second that the average news bod on the Beeb would prefer driving a nail in a sweating Corbynite versus a Tory of the same ilk then I doubt your judgement.

The problem as I see it is that no one with an intellect worthy of anything gives the Mail a second thought,  but they might actually pay attention to the Grauniad and it’s purse lipped, one eyed moralising.

I really find all our print media woeful. They sit in their camps, (with their camp followers ) big and small and never look at the bigger picture or outside their own die cast viewpoint.

Watched the C4 documentary on Italia 90 and hooliganism last night with my 15-year-old - his reaction to having to wait a week for the next installment was just that!!

Well he better get used to it because Netflix have announced they are switching to that model. No more binging new series. (All about keeping you paying the subscription month after month. Gotta keep those shareholders happy. Sod the customers.)

You sure?

Netflix is making one thing clear: binge releases aren’t going away. In its quarterly earnings statement today, the company explained that “we think our bingeable release model helps drive substantial engagement, especially for newer titles.”

Makes me laugh when people slag-off the BBC.

Try working away overseas for a fortnight and put-up with the dirge that is non British TV in your hotel.

This. Said it on here many times, anybody,  the beeb sets the standard - TV and radio - and all the other broadcadters have to bebloody good as well to compete. The net result is best TV anywhere by a mile. Anybody who thinks otherwise should be forced to watch foreign TV, it is mostly rubbish.
